I get why this is big news, but they'll NEVER do most of the characters I want (tho I might luck out and they'll do a Miles Morales).
And my hopes of a continuation of the Ultraman line, or an expansion to Kamen Rider slips further away.Looking for Green Arrow accessories, Doctor Who Sonic Screwdriver, and Japanese Popy Megos (Battle Cossack and France, Battle of the Planets, Kamen Rider, Ultraman) and World Heroes figuresComment

What I will be interested to see is how the Marvel style guide differs from DC. We have seen some modern interpretations of the new characters released under DC Comics, like Reverse Flash. I wonder if we will see the same done with new characters released under Marvel.Comment

This completely shocked me. I saw people mentioning this on Facebook and I kept thinking, “There is no flipping way this can be real!” Then I saw more and more confirmations, I am still in shock. My brain is exploding!

Given that there is a near perfect Bronze Age Hawkeye on the shelves with his sky cycle right now, I don't think there should be a major issue with Marvel not allowing classic versions. We get a bunch of classic silver/bronze age costumes from Marvel Legends; heck, the Avengers anniversary sub-line right now is all about that. I'll be most interested to see how the figures are distributed; I haven't heard if the deal is straight with Marvel or through Hasbro (given that Hasbro has the overall master license and all the Hasbro related Megos's have been Pulse exclusives, I'm thinking the latter), so I am wondering how the figures will be distributed. I would much rather have them out in force in the wild rather than only being able to grab some when they appear on Pulse (as I doubt these are going to hang around for long like the GI joe and Ghostbusters did), but we don't know the terms of the deal yet, so we'll have to see. Regardless, this is the big one folks have wanted (I can think of only one other property folks have spoken of with as much gusto). Sounds like price point may be a little more from what was said at the Meet, but given Legends are at $25 and rising, I can likely live with that.Comment
