If the license Hasbro is offering is the same as it was when Diamond Select made the EMCE Marvel sets, it’s for a collectable figure that retails for $80+. Mezco, Sideshow, Hot Toys, etc. all sell for way more than $80 so that license works for them in a way it doesn’t for Mego.

Before Diamond got the bid, I was involved in a competing company's pitch (which likely would have involved EMCE) and I gotta say, it's kind of set up to fail.

Marvel, in general, also doesn't merchandise their past like DC does. Which is frustrating. I love all my Batman '66 toys, comics, etc. Same with all the Reeve Superman stuff. And even lower tier properties like the 1990s Flash TV series have figures.

There is no official Incredible Hulk TV series merch you can buy, that I know of, other than the series itself. To say nothing of TV Spidey, TV Cap, etc. Really wish that would change!

I to would love to see Marvel heroes return to mego, plus new characters that weren’t made back in the day, Submariner and Daredevil plus Spider-Man villains like Electro and Vulture.
