Gotta wonder why they don't try dressing up a GI Joe again but modernize the head sculpt...

Well if they do make him down the road, Raiders of the Lost Ark Indy would be an instant purchase.

Even if they made one, it was never going to be a retail figure. The whip cracking Indy is getting a retail release, largely because of it's action feature.

I almost bought an Indy statue off ebay the other day for his head. Apparently it was exclusive to Disneyland stores. I just don't know if the head would be the right size.

Supposedly the stature is 10" tall.

The Indiana Jones on shelves aside from the Black Series or retro doesnt even have articulation. Surely a simple Mego would have been a better product they could even have thrown in that sound chip...767ebcbe70624ae1b1ff2736689ad073xl.jpg

I think he’d be a hit. I just found out there was an almost official but cancelled Deckard from Blade Runner. What a shame. Any Harry would probably sell great.

The LJN Rookies and SWAT line has a character that looks vaguely like our hero. Fun fact, the opening sequence of the original Raiders film utilized the early prototype canvas jacket because it held more dust for the action. So if you wanted to DIY and make a custom I’m sure he could be pieced together rolling the dice on a CCTV toys order.

Sometimes it takes a couple of tries. Indy is a one figure thing, and the larger kenner one could have been a good base to follow somewhat.

The other Hasbro partnership figures don't appear to have been a big success and IJ has a mixed bag of sales in general.
