I went back to Walmart a second time after initially finding three of them, only to be greeted by about three more of each Batman, Robin and Superman, which was nice. None of the Supermans were great, so I am holding onto mine for now. I found a Batman with a clean chest sticker application, so I bought that. My initial Robin was fine. I may return my first Batman, or I may do the Secret Identity clothes swap with him. Still on the hunt for a better Superman. If I see them at another Walmart and they look good, I may pick him up along with doubles instead of taking a chance with my pre-orders. I always prefer to buy in person anyway.

No yellow sticker but there have been isolated reports based mostly on fuzzy memories of a regular chest sticker also placed on the cape. I have also heard of random figures having extra stickers back in the old days. One member here mentioned getting a Captain Marvel with several Lightning Bolt stickers. I place the cape sticker Superman as slightly more true than the Peter Parker camera but as an accident at the factory instead of an intentional variant.

It's been so long ... didn't the original Superman have a yellow "S" sticker on the cape? For some reason I can remember one but I'm not positive ...

I think the 1st issue type 1 stirrups version had the cape “S” sticker on back.

I feel exactly the same way. It was great seeing them in the store today.

Found Superman, Batman, and Robin, too! They had two sets. I bought one. Even though I have the originals, I am so excited by these. Hope they carry some of the others because nothing beats buying them in person at a store.
