Damn, that's a great picture! Can't wait until mine show up.

Now if we can have some love for Ingrid Pitt's Carmilla or Reed's Werewolf that would be nice.

Dr. Phibes is my most wanted in the horror genre.

Evil of Frankenstein would be great, and Frankenstein and the Monster from Hell.

Peter Cushing as Dr. Frankenstein and Sherlock Holmes would also be cool variant’s plus as an added bonus with Holmes you would receive the howling hound of the Baskervilles.
Gosh, this has got me in the mood for some Hammer Horror.

While we’re on the subject of horror, I’d love to see a Vincent Price figure of some kind. Maybe from the Last Man on Earth, or Edward Scissorhands if they want to go that route. (I’d love to see Edward Scissorhands, and am a bit surprised we haven’t seen it already.)

Yes, you’re right. I can’t believe I forgot Curse of the Werewolf. Ollie Reed’s makeup was fantastic in that one. I’d put it #3 behind Lon Chaney’s Wolfman costume and the one used in Monster Squad.

Speaking of which, if Mego wants to keep the monster gravy train going, I think the Monster Squad would be a good line to tackle. (Along with Dark Shadows.)

EDIT: And of course ANY of the Hammer beauties would be a most welcome sight, but I reckon that’s a pipe dream.

I like the use of the clear torso underneath the torn wrapping to illustrate the holes blown and speared through him. His costume is so tight I fear trying to pose him much, but that's okay. I was disappointed I couldn't get the Phantom's mask to stay on his face (or very well in his hand, honestly). May take a heat gun to it to kind of "mold" it around the sculpt...which is nice. His face seems a bit small amidst all that hair. But the likeness and scarring are really well done.

I have to say the Plague of the Zombies figure is a surprising highlight. Mego captured that disturbing, unsettling makeup job REALLY well. He strikes one scary figure!!!

But overall, a really nice set of figures. I agree, some monster hands would help, especially with the Zombie and Mummy, but I'm pleased.

Now we just need an official Cushing as Frankenstein figure.

What body is the Mummy and Zombie on?

I've said it elsewhere in one of these threads discussing the new Mego figures, but I'll say it again: I'm actually fine with Brent being on what's being called the 'sidekick' body, since James Franciscus was shorter than Charlton Heston.

I think variant Kharis is going to look odd if released on a new body.
