Because Monsters in Motion just did a Google image search and used a picture of the Topps figure?
I suspect that is not a 100% accurate picture of the Taylor figure or the Mutant Leader, either... I think those are actually just movie stills! The conspiracy deepens...Comment

Yes, clearly those are stills. Not sure what that has to do with the question at hand.Last edited by The Batman Professor; Mar 16, '22, 11:58 PM.sigpicSWEAR TO ME!Comment

So let me ask you this in a different way:
If the Hammer figures from other retailers are exactly the same as the Topps except for slight costuming changes (perhaps a burgundy jacket on the Phantom instead of navy blue) are you going to be happy that these folks took your money six months ago?Last edited by The Batman Professor; Mar 16, '22, 11:59 PM.sigpicSWEAR TO ME!Comment

If you are asking me specifically, my answer is: (a) I did not buy any of the Topps Hammer figures, I only bought the Trek figures, and (b) yes, even if the Trek variations are just as minor as you described, I'm still happy with my decision.Comment

I’m glad to hear it. I look forward to receiving the figures I’ve ordered.Last edited by The Batman Professor; Mar 17, '22, 12:34 AM.sigpicSWEAR TO ME!Comment

I’m with Sprytel. We’ve seen two variations so far, both quite different from the Topps versions.
If, for example, the only difference between Topps and NotTopps Star Trek is that NotTopps come with blue weapons, I’m fine with that.Expectation is the death of discovery.Comment

The Mutant Leader variant may be with his human/non-radiated skin."I thought they didn't allow no bathin' suits in here."Comment
