    New Mego...is it just me?

    Ok. Maybe it's just me.
But ever since the return of Mego, I have become obsessed with the vintage figures. I have been seeking out my favorite vintage characters and trying to find them boxed, something I never even considered before.

I think that happens with every vintage style toy line. MOTU Origins caused a huge resurgence in vintage collecting. Prices for those have gone crazy.

^I'll say this: If Mattel doesn't reissue Roton, I'll be watching for a vintage one. It's my favorite villain vehicle.

I'm already working out a custom truncated Dragon Walker from a junk vintage one.

But for Mego, new stuff hasn't spurred new vintage buying, I'm still searching for the same few pieces and customs that I have been for years.

I feel you. I've been grabbing ones that were out of my price range for years.

New Mego hasn’t spurred my buying either, but I totally understand it can with others, I’m actually wishing now I had an original boxed Aquaman and Green Arrow.

^I'm wishing I had a boxed (T1) Aquaman, too lol. How can I have avoided that so far, he's my favorite hero?

I’ve mostly been picking up vintage and enjoying how much better the bodies and posing are. That said I don’t know if that’s a result of the new figures or just the natural ebb and flow of collecting for me.
