List of Walmarts carrying Mego in the window box

One of the three Walmarts in my immediate locale is listed... Weird thing is, when I was in there last (about a month ago), they had zero in the way of *any* of the new Mego figures.

This looks to be an end cap promotion. So it’s possible that this could show up in some stores that don’t regularly carry Mego. Likewise some stores may not do it as an end cap too. Often when these sort of promotions get done, stores don’t always do them the same. Even though ideally, the concept is that you’d see the same thing in every store. I’m guessing a few non-Mego stores will end up with this batch.

Made my rounds today. Of the 9 Wal Marts in my immediate 15 mile radius area, on the list this time around, I compared it to the previous list. Looks like I lost three Walmarts from the previous list and gained 1.

On the list 4 I have been too recently haven't had ANY Mego product since Oct 2021, when they clearanced most of what they had left ( Ultraman Tiga, Locutus and Q).

So I stopped by the new one one the list today, to find an endocap full of old Mego Product (Ultraman Tiga, Wonka, Locutus, Q, Saru, and Hammer Dracula). None were clearanced,
but none weren't looking to go anytime soon either. I casually asked the lady working electronics how long the endocap had been up, and she said "a while" they had to move them off the aisle to make room for
more POP items and Neca. Sure enough on the aisle, they had Pop Clear Cases, and more of those Pop Figpin things. NECA was strong, with the Boys, Goliath and Alien and Predator figures there.

So tomorrow I'll start making the rounds on the remaining 8 and work my way again back through the 4 that clearanced out / were dry since Oct 2021. Fingers Crossed.
I'd like to get the Nun, but if I don't find her at retail, I'll wait for ZLC or Amazon. no biggie.

I really don't mind going to one of the WalMarts. Is there any way that we can ensure there is stock and availability tho without having to go back and back and back to this one and that one and this one?

Go ASAP my Walmart received them today and only thing left was Mole people and 2pk of Wolfman and Fly flocked.

I swung by the two in town that were on the list this morning. The one on Bechtle had 3 of the releases, boxed Mole Men & Toxic Avenger, and the flocked Fly & Werewolf, mixed with a lot of other products on an end cap. The one on Tuttle Rd had nada. No New Years Fear endcap of any sort and only 1 Mego (an Ultraman) in the collectible section. Someone however, had put the Star Trek Megos (Picard and Q) on a peg in the action figure aisle of the toy department. The collectibles section overall in Tuttle was in shambles, so its possible they haven't set up the end cap yet. I'll check back next week at that one to see, since it is the one closest to home.

The location was bad. It was on an endcap in the very back near electronics, near the TVs, facing the back of the store wall. I remembered seeing a few collectibles back there before, so when I couldn't find them in the regular collectibles area, I went to check and there they were.

The tag in front of the singles says "8 Mole Person" for $19.88, so I was surprised that The Invisible Man rung up at $15.88. It just says "Collectible" on the receipt.

I think that's all they had or put out, so I don't think I missed the others singles or sets.

And yes, I only picked up The Invisible Man.

EDIT: For those interested, on the top shelf between the Funko Pop! WWE and Skeletor, were a bunch of NECA Scream Ghostface figures, $34.95 ea.

Found some of the offerings yesterday in Georgetown, KY. Picked up a Young Frankenstein 2-pack and an Invisible Man. Invisible Man was $16, but the Mole People was $20 for some odd reason, so I passed for now, just because I've bought a LOT of collectibles lately, and have more carded Megos on order from Absolutely Retro.

The endcap was in Electronics right around where all the collectibles were, so a pretty good location.

As noted in another thread, Joel posted in Ambassadors last night that there is a glitch in the pricing on Walmart's end. They are all supposed to be the same price. He said they should change it but wasn't sure if they would raise the rest to match the Mole Person or drop the Mole person's price to match the rest though, as that was up to Walmart not Mego.

Checked at one store in my area here in NY, but no luck. I called another to save myself a trip, they did not have them as of yet.

Didn't see the endcap, but they had the Young Frankenstein two-pack at a somewhat isolated Walmart north of me. To be honest, they aren't characters of much interest to me, but both figures and their outfits looked great.
