Geordi looks the best out of the new bunch. (Not interested in the Next Generation stuffs though.)

I, too, was hoping for something different aside from the candlesticks from Van Helsing. (I most likely still get it. I'm a sucker for Hammer Dracula stuffs.) (Mite get Spock and Kirk too.)

I am hoping for Vincent Price, Boris Karloff and Peter Lori from the Raven.

Mentioned that to an Mego oldtimer. Made me scratch my head too. And the outfits for both Supes and Wonder Woman are just...well, baggy. Reminds me of the junk that Figures was doing a while back where the outfits were baggy and just ugly. The Superman has silkscreened abs. That's just plain old lazy and cheap all in one. Wonder Woman looks like she has a poop load in her bottom dress area. At the very least sinch it up so that it fits the figure snug. I hope those are prototypes and not finished production figures.

^^ I got the impression he was making a tongue-in-cheek joke after previously explaining (in several other podcasts) that playsets aren't financially viable in our era, but I guess ya never know until ya know.

The recent POTA podcast wandered off-topic here and there, but some new info was shared. The coming Gorilla Soldier is interesting and not what I expected (using the non-helmet General in a repaint). Doc said there's a factory issue with the bando being 5% too small as they retooled it, but comes in both brown and black a retail variant.

Doc also mentioned (the aforementioned) new sculpt version and clothing variants will follow this one. Additional Mutants coming, including an in-development removable mask version. Nova still waiting on the new body, and he even *teased* she'll come with a playset.

Given the anger at Topps selling exclusive variants, I'm sure the fact that Mego is releasing this variant at retail will be met with universal love and praise.
