    14" body questions

are the new 14" figures using the same body that MEGO corp started up with at Target in 2018?
Are the new bodies bandless. If they are different than the earlier figures, were the earlier ones bandless?

They are not the Target style body. It is entirely new. I haven't seen one in person, but I've seen a picture with the two style figures standing next to each other. The new one isn't quite as bulky and more human proportioned.

Both bodies are bandless. The new ones slimmer, kinda like the difference between the old Mego 12" skinny body vs muscle body. The new versions have more articulation and reportedly have solved the issue of the floppy waist. I will dissect one as soon as I get it.

I just received the new Mego14" Superman.....Freakin' Awesome !!! If Mego were to incorporate this type of bandless body with the old style neck plugs in the 8" bodies....Mego will have the best Action Figure in the 14" and 8" format hands down. I strongly believe that Mego has a winner with this body...Please bring it to the 8" bodies....PLEASE ! 20210807_205537_HDR.jpg
