Probably not. JJ Trek wasn't my thing, so I'd rather see MEGO fill out the rest of the TOS line, TOS movie line and Next Gen

Geordi would be nice because the body could be used for Trek kit bashes. I’d also buy one to keep as is. Soldier Ape would also be good for army building.

From what I understand, if they wanted to do JarJar Abrams/Bad Reboot version of Star Trek they’d have to pay a separate licensing fee.

Can somebody explain Blade Runner making it into the mix?

Blade Runner was planned to come out in one of the first three waves, but only if likeness rights could be secured. As it turned out, they could not and it was cancelled. It was never announced and the public should never have known about it.

However, a retailers system had leaked some product names just after wave 1 was released and Blade Runner was one of those names despite being cancelled and never going into production.

Consumers were excited by seeing the leaked names and they assumed it meant that Blade Runner was coming and were disappointed wave after wave when it didn’t come out. It still gets asked about.

I doubt Mego would be interested in releasing them without likenesses or going thru the bother of trying again to get likenesses rights… but who knows. Things change constantly.

I am excited to see who will be next for Trek since they already are doing such a good job and there is no planned stop anytime soon. I am hoping we get a Worf next for TNG, a Janeaway for Voyager and Nurse Chapel for TOS.

I hope so. I don’t want to see any females on those older bodies. They just aren’t up to par with the male figures. While the guy figures often look fairly realistic, the females consistently look cartoonish and overly doll-like, and not in a good way.

I'd like to see figures getting released on the new male body. I hope they release some soon, maybe with wave 14.
