Monster Perfection

Just got the Karloff Frankenstein excellent. When I placed it next to the new Creature and Hammer Dracula, I wondered if we will ever get the full story on what happened with the monster catalog.
The Frankenstein before it seems a bit missing now and why do I get the feeling we still are not going to get an official Lugosi Dracula too?

Not complaining now great toys thanks to everyone involved!

Do you consider the two previously released Lugosi Draculas to not be official because they don’t have the Universal logo?

Actually I swapped costumes with the EMCE licensed one so between the two I have one. Yes I consider it different he has some specific aspects of the costume. I guess I made it happen for me by swapping the costumes.c557a29fef339750bb5f1b3f9b79ad37a580581a-1.jpg

Hehe yea I am not a customizer but I could not resist. Brings a new angle to the term you should have seen the other guy since its not bela without the universal costume.

I put the EMCE Dracula's costume on my Mego Dracula, and just put the EMCE Frankenstein's costume on my Mego Frankenstein (yes, I know he is officially "the Monster"), and he looks much better. The MEGO costume is a little bulky, and the platform boots seem a little small, so the costume switch was a must. The MEGO Frankenstein's head sculpt is fantastic, and the coloring is good too, not too green like the EMCE version, which looks more like Herman Munster than Universal's Monster. With the costume switch I'm pretty happy.
