Saw Mego in my lcs today

Been swamped at work and made my first trip of the year to my lcs to discover they had a bunch of new Mego products (through Diamond) priced at $14.99 each. It was the wave with bare-chested Frankenstein, Nosferatu, Dracula etc.

It was nice to see them someplace else local in the wild.

I am happy with my online sources for MEGO figures but it's a lot more fun to be able to go in a store and buy them.

I went to my LCS today and saw both Mego (14 inch figures) and FTC. For Mego, there were Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, and I think Aquaman. For FTC, there were the Teen Titans, some Fist Fighters (Green Arrow, Aquaman, and Shazam), and Mr. Mxyzptlk. I wanted Wonder Girl, but you had to buy the whole Teen Titans set. So I decided I wanted Green Arrow, but my mom said I didn't need it now. I ended up buying Adventures of Superman #500 from June 1993. Has a lot of retro ads, including a Mega Man 5 ad on the inside of the back cover.
