Wave 4 speculation

Definitely 14" Manta is coming. We know that for sure. Aquaman can't be that far out.

We know it's coming, but do we know it's Wave 4 and not wave 5 or later? If it's just a prototype now (or when the pic we've seen was taken), will it be done and through production in time to hit the market in March when they've said Wave 4 is due? Wouldn't stuff for wave 4 already be well past that point of production to make the market by that date? I genuinely don't know, but I do know how slow things can be getting to the Us when produced in China from my time freelancing in the rpg industry with some publishers who printed in China and how slow and unreliable shipping of the product to the US was.

I know Marty will be at the Hollywood Autograph Show Feb 1-3, which is only a few weeks before Toy Fair. I know there are a lot of guests there with Mego ties (Shatner will be there), but I'm wondering how many of the guests appearing that weekend might be part of a Mego unveiling? There are tributes to Trek, POTA and Warriors (and Pulp Fiction, but not holding my breath on that one and it's Likeness Rights horror stories other manufacturers have dealt with such as DST). The stars of CHiPs will also be there.

I think a lot of people were expecting Fonzie to have the same demand as the monsters and Star Trek turned out to have. I have to agree with your assessment there.

With some jogging of my memory, in this thread, the fact that Mego has developed a relationship with Henry Winkler makes me believe we’ll see more of the Happy Days line, in Wave 4.

I'm thinking the Fonzie with thumbs-up action is in Wave 4. Marty did tell Henry Winkler that one is coming.

I think Pinky will be in wave 4.

I would rather see them finish of the Fab Four with the additions of Ralph and Potsie first, then the rest of the cast
two each in future waves.

I’m not sure about the 4th wave, but I’d bet the 5th wave will reflect what Mego has learned from the sales data of waves 1 thru 3. On top of that, no more second parties will be calling the shots on particular lines/properties. So, Mego will be able to go forward with what they’ve learned and not pushed into something they wouldn’t do on their own volition.
