Why does he come with a left handed guitar? He actually used a right handed one and flipped the order of the strings. -

I hate to be negative, but this Jimi figure isn't very accurate in many ways...the Bela Lugosi Dracula was as spot on as the Jimi isn't.Comment

I just think Posing him with the guitar would be easier with a strapComment

Actually, that's a good point that I never thought about. I guess that if it looks too much like an actual guitar brand, licensing would be required. The 1/6 scale Pickups guitars from around twenty years ago were very accurate replicas of Gibson, B.C. Rich, etc. guitars but yeah, I'm pretty sure those were licensed.Comment

Not to mention the face looks more like Carl Weathers (Apollo Creed) than Jimi as well...just wish they had gotten it a little closer than this.
(As I said, the Bela as Dracula is superb, very well done!)
And he played a white Strat at Woodstock.
Please don't get me wrong, I love what Mego is doing, but a little disappointed in this one.
Maybe a Monterey Pop Festival one in the future will be more accurate...Comment

Well, my (almost 20 year old) daughter is a Hendrix fan and when I showed her the Mego Hendrix, she thought it was cool. I had picked up a second one at a second Target because I'm not sure if and when I will open it, and the second one was posed better in the package.
Anyway, when I told my daughter I had a second one, she was happy to take it off my hands!Comment
