I'd like to know as well. There is no way that I Dream of Jeannie was selling out faster than Chekov and Sulu. I just don't believe it. I can't see how Action Jackson out-sold them either.

Target really dropped the ball on this one, so I won't be able to get any Mego Trek figures...

Target and their online ordering really isn't very good at all for collectibles, as I am sure the Funko crowd can attest too. I missed the Flocked Bugs Bunny Pop! And the one I really wanted, the Black Panther T-Shirt and Pop! Set, which showed up at my Target weeks later (despite being in the Ad two weeks prior) and I only saw one set that was the wrong shirt size (I wanted the shirt more than the Pop!).

I'm still confident these will be in enough stores though, although some will sell out quickly. I just hope we don't see a glut of these magically "reappear" on the shelves 90 days from now.

I noticed these weren't shown in Target's weekly print ad (or online ad). "Back in the day", all the Target exclusives seemed to be advertised that way.

The only two I had to have were Hendrix and Charlie's Angels, so I ordered those online. If I see some in stores, I'll pick them up... but I got the minimum I wanted.

I couldn't stay awake. The site is now down to 5 options. I missed out on the ones for which I was looking: Sulu, and the 2 pack Mirror Mirror. Ugh. I'm happy for Mego...but I'm working through this lesson in patience.

As an aside, I feel like today’s release date is somewhat anticlimactic since many have had the figures in store for days and some for more than a week.

That said, I think the figures are great! I’m so happy to see the buzz and happier to see that they’re selling so well. I’m supposing that the next two waves will trickle out the way this first wave did. I guess many of us will just have to be Target regulars until Christmas.

This is disappointing. But I hope the rapid sellout means some of these figures will get reissued. I feel like Mego was never about limited editions (that kind of thing didn't exist back then). Popular figures were produced for as long as they were successful sellers. So maybe we will see another run for some of them.

there were scalpers there too, but for the Funko pops. one of the collectors for those pointed out the scalpers to everyone else right away, LOL
