My one Trek dream

I want a Pike that has a head that looks like an amalgamation of these three dudes.

No kidding!! Back in the day when Ray Liotta was young...he was my #1 pick for Cpt. Pike to star in a new Trek series(or Movie).

I always thought Liotta was a ringer for Pike back in the day.

My Mego Trek dream would be many assorted accurate figures and playsets from classic and all classic movies. OMG that would be glorious.

The instant moment Abrams showed me he wasn't a Trek fan was by having Pike in his movie and not casting Liotta.

I don't know if that's a fair statement. Bruce Greenwood is a very good actor. He did a great job as Pike. I would not have minded if he would've stayed the Captain of the Enterprise for a few movies. I mean c'mon, The first ship Ensign Kirk is on, he gets promoted to Captain? That IS fiction

I used to want a Death Star like Enterprise playset with the bridge on top, sick bay in the middle, and engineering on the bottom, the turbolift to get up and down, and a fold down plate for the hanger bay.

I always thought that Ray Liotta looked enough like Jeffrey Hunter and could have done wonders with fans to resurrect Pike. But that never came to be. But used to Hollywood disappointment, always thought Jim Carrey could do wonders with Dick York’s Darren Stevens in a bewitched reboot. Nicole Kidman was wonderful with her Samantha. But the story line was weak. If they’d have only did an exact remake. With Carrey as straghtman Stevens. Imagine.

Also always thought Kurt Russell was a dead ringer for Jim Morrison. So if the 27 club is one planned they could do a snake plisken without the eye patch for a perfect Morrson. Shave the beard for a younger looking version of both.

You know, the Tony Nelson head they just released might just do it for you- your excellent idea has, at least for me, convinced me that I shall have to buy two Jeannie packs for that very reason!
