Many of the Targets in my area are going through a complete makeover in the entertainment and toy department. One store had taken down all the isles where the movies were at. The store clerks I have talked to said (with a weary tone) that it's a massive undertaking. So I'm sitting back a bit before I venture back out. It appears the 29th may be for the whole department and not just Mego, but there's clearly allot going on in many of these stores.

There is one Target by me that appears to be done with their changes (this store was doing remodeling, so I think they just went with the new model) and it is different! The pet food and supplies are now in the back, which threw me for a loop. They may have expanded their grocery items to the old pet area, but I did not have time to fully explore the store.

This is the same store that had a big Harry Potter section set up to the left when you come in, right before the clothes (swimwear) starts. The layout of this store still retains some of the layouts of old Target stores though.
