What is Firefly? Never heard of it.
I was hoping it was a superhero, lol.Leave a comment:

If they do Oz again, I hope they redo those stupid pointy toed shoes that thw Wicked Witch wore. Put her in a respectable pair of low heeled pumps.Leave a comment:

Funny, in the top 10 video at the bottom of the page they use the Mego Meet DR Chromedome not the original.Leave a comment:

Thanks for the heads up! I wonder if MEGO can reissue original MGM movie Wizard of Oz 8" figures? Time-Warner owns MGM but also DC who MEGO is making 14" figures of. Original MEGO Oz figures were beautiful enough with excellent likenesses for re-issues! MGM movie 80th anniversary in 2019! My sister had all MEGO Oz figures and Emerald City playset but not rare Sears Witch's Castle or Munchikins. I want those rereleased, too! Flying monkeys and green skinned witch's soldiers!
I know Charmed 3 beautiful actresses. Still not familiar with Firefly, but both are good licenses.
The MEGO news keeps coming!Leave a comment:

Firefly, Charmed and Wizard of Oz
EDIT: No Firefly
I hadn't seen Firefly, Charmed or Wizard of Oz mentioned in the other press releases.
From http://www.syfy.com/syfywire/mego-to...-trek-and-more
I will be all over the Firefly figures and hope they extend the Wizard of Oz to include flying monkeys!Mego Corp., the company that innovated some of the earliest cross-merchandising action figure toys for cartoon, comics, and pop culture fans throughout the 1970s and early 1980s, is launching a new line of figures based on characters from DC, Star Trek, Firefly, Charmed, The Wizard of Oz, and more beginning this October.Last edited by pmwasson; Jul 13, '18, 3:38 PM.Tags: None
