I notice Captain America's costume is slightly different. His red and white stripes aren't just straight across his chest. It arches up in the middle.

Thor comes with the solid red wrist bands instead of the red and black striped ones.

I'm happy that Mego chose this lineup. Yeah I want new figure, but I wanted the main characters first.

PS despite having this for weeks, I have NOT as of this time unboxed everything yet. I mentioned to Paul I was treating them like fine cigars, I have opened two figures, have taken hours of footage and honestly, so far, this is the best set and I really liked the last ones....

Would you say these are significantly better than the Diamond Cap and Thor?

This is definitely a great set, it was well worth the wait. I think they all look just fine, but still seeing Hulk shorter than the rest still makes me grind my teeth, but of course this is 70’s come back nostalgia which it was intended for and how it should be. Here’s to hoping everyone that wants one gets one.

I have only unboxed Cap and Iron Man so far. I am treating them like fine cigars. So far, though, I would say the Cap at least totally trumps the DST, yes.

I’m very happy to see this set. My only concern is that leaves Falcon as the last original Marvel Mego release left to be done. (I’m not counting Conan for obvious reasons). If there is going to be one or two more Disney four packs, Falcon and three to seven “new” characters might be a tough sell, at least for those collectors like myself that are primarily here for the reproductions of the original releases. I really expected these four to be split between two sets.

I wonder if Mego did that in the 70’s as a cost saving measure. That would be true to form! Take the same amount of plastic used for Male Doll, resculpt it into a Hulk body. He loses height, but gains muscles, and is the same price point.

Pretty sure this is why the Hulk figure is so short. This is the only thing that makes sense for the size.
