    Breakage in figures explained.

No Mego figures as an example, but it is why your figures break.

I have a few Neca: Jungle Predator, Pinhead, Alien and none of them suffered from the Brittle Body syndrome that mego gave us. 2 broken Dr. Fate, 1 broken Deadman. All were at room temperature when I attempted to pose em except one of the Dr. Fate. I actually soaked the stuck joint in hot water 2x and waited until it cooled and it still snapped. The Disney Spidey set seemed to suffered the same from the YouTube vid. This is why I recently posted a question about the intergrity of the body. I was hoping the reissue Spidey set "corrected" the issue. Of the limited video on the FF set, no one actually posed or moved the figures. I don't why. I don't think anyone should take a plunge and spend about $80.00 on anything that will fall apart once removed from the box. Just FYl, I did buy the Grim Ghost and I am very happy it had no problems.

DC Direct figures are HORRIBLE about just breaking on the shelf, with no movement. I picked up my Crisis on Infinite Earths Earth-Two Robin for the first time in years, and his hand just fell off. Didn't even try to turn it! I've had arms and legs do this often with these figures. I wonder how many will eventually survive.

I have a Atlas Grim Ghost that the right knee snapped off right out of package. I am very careful because I handle older toys

Yeah, I've had that happen with DC Direct figures...casually touch a figure years later and it somehow breaks. I've also had it break as im opening the package. I havent watched the video yet but i believe the culprit were those clear joints they started using around '07 ish.

I sold off my entire DC direct collection because the figures were falling apart from the use of the clear joints and what seems like cheap fragile plastic
that smells terrible when you put the loose figures in storage tubs.
