Ok so Disney has a lot of properties. How about Lone Ranger, Zorro, and John Carter? The Heroes of the 187o’s.

Disney doesn’t own the license for any of these characters. It’s unlikely they would acquire licenses to make Mego figures considering the deep well of properties and characters they already do own.Expectation is the death of discovery.Comment

I know that they are not the license owners as all of these were authored prior to Disney. But I think Disney was the last licensor of each of these characters. I mean they only lost a billion or so on Johnny Carter and Danno Reid.Comment

Zorro is a public domain character, but the trademarks are owned by Zorro Productions Inc. They have licensed several Zorro projects (particularly in comic books) in recent years and many people have licensed the rights since Disney last did.
