I think you have an original mego South African Jet Jungle minus the head and JJ sticker, which looks like it was peeled off.
Somebody decided to switch a mego Frankenstein head for it instead? I think classic tv toys has repro Jet Jungle heads if your interested, not sure what you can do for the sticker?

I knew the body was from an action Jackson figure, was not aware about the Jet Jungle figure. You are correct, its the suit all right. Dont know why the head was switched on it. Will look at the Classic toy for the correct head.

Mego`s are not easy to find in my area so I buy when I do find them.

I've never had any luck in Quebec with Mego, which is weird because Grand Toys was situated just outside of Montreal.

Had the exact same experience as you. Just got lucky, one dealer had some and I almost bought them all.

I got all of mine in the past from Toronto since none to be found in Montreal. I also bought from Ebay in the 90s, no tax and cheap shipping.

I usualy find one here , one there... crumbs...

Same here. I go to the expos, but it’s not cheap. I did get a DST Thor set, for less than the $150 in my area. Also a NM Klingon, that might be a bit more crushed upon arrival

Been watching Brian`s videos on shows in the states recently and I am amazed as to how much Mego there is in the States... I`m envious... lol

Re the Frankenstein figure. The outfit it is wearing is not an original Jet Jungle outfit. It's the AJ secret agent outfit. The Jet Jungle outfit does not have cuffs on the sleeves and the pants are slightly flared.
