    Disney Spidey 4 Pack damage

I was all excited since ordered a Disney 4 pack from the United States ( I am in Canada ) The set finaly arrived but it arrived opened , ripped and the Green Goblin figure was even put backwards in the box. I paid a heavty amount for this set so contacted the seller who told me the set was mint. he told he would get back to me after some veryfication.

This ****es me off. I dont open my figures. I keep them mint in box.

Wondering if I should return it to the seller!?! This was bought thru Ebay...

    What are my options?

I have bought on Ebay for over 20 years and nothing like this has ever happened.

Look at the pictures posted on the original ebay listing. Are they accurate to the item you received? Is what you received what was promised?

None of us can really advise you as to what to do.

Remember, if you return it, you have to pay for the postage.

The main question is: does the item make you happy? If I were to ask myself that question, and answer no, I would contact ebay support about returning it.

Did you get the new set from the same seller or another seller? were you able to keep the damaged set?
if you got to keep the damaged set, congrats on getting two sets for the price of one, I know there pretty expensive on ebay.

Update, bought 2 sets from the original seller. hopefully, will get one that arrives in mint un-opened state. Hope the Tariff war wont affect all the stuff going thru the border. It would be a real drag.

Will MEGO be releasing these four figures separately after this 4-pack?

Also, do these 4 figures comprise all of Wave 1?

No, unless Disney decides to sell them separately but they would still be Disney Park exclusives.

I’m almost positive that they couldn’t even if they wanted to.
Due to a restriction with their license, they can only offer 8” cloth costumed action figures at a higher “boutique” price point. Hasbro has the master Marvel license that gives them exclusive rights to release single cloth costume figures at a lower price point.
At least that’s how I understand it.
That’s why Diamond could only produce those $80 sets many years ago that included multiple looks (repro classic costume, new updated costume, and secret identity clothes).

That’s true for getting a license from Hasbro, but in this case, Mego doesn’t have the Marvel license.

Disney is ordering these figures from Mego exclusively for the theme parks and the product will not go to retail. It circumvents Hasbros master toy license.

Disney can decide how they want to package the figures as well. Right now, the plan is for 4 figure sets. They could sell them separately, or in two packs, or say for example, a character with a vehicle, etc. They’re free to do whatever they want for the parks.
