Wave 20

I look at the photos of Wave 19 and can't help but be excited for these new figures. 19 is a really strong batch in my opinion. That said - If there is a Wave 20 and it's another group of 50th anniversary figures, who would your choices/wants/predictions be?

I know this does not fall into the 50th Anniversary category, but I would like the following just to wrap up characters I would like to see in my collection:

Doomsday

I think those are solid choices. Mister Miracle is a big want for me. Hawkgirl and Huntress seem to be natural fits when female characters get produced. My interpretation of "50th Anniversary" is that they don't necessarily need to be older characters. Rather the characters chosen for production are going to be made in the style of the original World's Greatest Super Heroes. I don't feel like that disqualifies Doomsday, Lobo, or Hush.

I think Mister Miracle could look great in the Mego format. So would Blue Beetle. My other wishes include Jay Garrick, Wildcat, Huntress, Power Girl, Dr. Mid-Nite and Creeper. Really looking forward to the next wave with Hawkman, Spectre etc. So good to know I can actually buy this stuff after the whole Marvel 4-pack disaster.

I am struggling these days to form a wish list on the DC side. Anything Charlton would be the only thing I could think of, a Mego Ted Cord or Peacemaker? I'm all over it.

I'm never so concerned for who they do as much as how they do them.

But. not including extant and new Gals. I'd love to see Atom, Blue Beetle, some Golden-Age faves, Mr. Freeze. and Black Manta.

Lots of great choices here! If I'm remembering correctly, with the exception of the female characters, Mego is down to two Satellite Leaguers - Atom and Elongated Man. I'd bet a Mego Atom would be awesome. Ralph would be neat to see in Mego form as well. Any Justice Society member would be cool with me. Do Nightwing and Cyborg mean adult Titans? Maybe an 8 inch Kid Flash, Speedy, or Aqualad is coming? Mister Miracle would look great. Two or three bad guys? I think you could have one Batman rogue in each wave until they stop production and not go wrong. I'd love to see Signalman, Catman, and the Spook to name a few. If an Atom is produced, I'd love to see Chronos in Mego form as well.

I would like a first appearance Superman with a head sculpt resembling Shuster's simplified art. And/or a reissue of the Big Lots Superman costume with a new head sculpt resembling the 40's cartoon.

On that point, do you think Mego would get sued again, if they did the Elastic heroes? With Legends of Goo Jit Su, stretch toys aren't really a trade secret anymore. I'd love a stretch Plastic Man, Spidey and Hulk.

Probably not but honestly, it's more likely one of the other manufacturers of stretch toys would do it than Mego.

Besides the obvious 4 missing original females, if I could have one more wave planted firmly in the 70's I'd want to see:

Black Canary
Hawkgirl
Black Lightning
Ocean Master
Mera
Mister Miracle
Cheetah
Huntress
Metallo (Bronze Age orange/green look)

Of course, I wouldn't argue against Elongated Man, Zatanna, or more Titans, JSA and Flash Rogues either.

8" Kid Flash? O, yes, I should have mentioned him before! And I wouldn't mind getting the rest of the NTT as well. Since they're already doing Cyborg it actually seems realistic.
