The Wal-Mart app has them out of stock but listed with a release date of 12/30/2024.

There are a few Walmart stores in my driving area that had the Nacelle figures like Robo Force, Sectaurs etc. They were already marked down last week after Christmas.

I'm assuming those stores are more likely to carry the Atlas figures, but that's just a guess.

I've made the decision not to buy any new Mego Product that isn't Ultraman or Kamen Rider. And since these Atlas characters are just awful, I am not interested.
Looking for Green Arrow accessories, Doctor Who Sonic Screwdriver, and Japanese Popy Megos (Battle Cossack and France, Battle of the Planets, Kamen Rider, Ultraman) and World Heroes figures

The whole month of December, the Atlas figures were listed as "out of stock" on the Walmart website. I just checked the website again this morning and they aren't even listed anymore. My Walmart doesn't have them or any Megos for that matter.

I still have them on my Saved List in the WM App, but they are out of stock. I do wonder if they will show up in Stores.

To be truthful I have given up on Mego hunting after Christmas. I never found a single new figure at the store.

I haven’t seen a new Mego in the stores in ages. Maybe a Creepshow here and there at an out-of-the-way Walmart. I don’t frequent the few comics shops left in my area much, but I haven’t seen Mego figures there either.

I just wait for them to show up online and order them (and hope to get them easier than the Disney Store fiasco). Unless it’s something I need to see in-person before I buy, like the Atlas figures.

I thought the Atlas Comics figures were going to be Walmart.com only?

The only Mego figure I see around the 10 Walmarts I have in a 15 mile radius from my house is one lone Toxic Avenger in the Electronics section
that somebody hopes to sale for $20at a Walmart 11 miles form my house.
The last of the 50th Anniversary's left on Black Friday, when one last Walmart put all their Reverse Flashes on clearance for $10.

It's sad to walk into a Walmart and to know there are no Megs to be found.
How far we have come from 2018 and 2020.

If I understand the Atlas thing well, Mego isn't the seller, they were the manufacturer. It's on Atlas and Wal-Mart to get them into stores.

It was a rough 2024 for Mego figures at retail, we got bupkiss here.

I sort of agree with Justin, here. I have a few books, the Phoenix and the Brute and I collected the Brute only cause it told an interesting story and of course like all the other books, it got cancelled.

Would I buy a BRUTE figure. No. It was the start of a good story and forget the "Hulk" references.

                            And it is Atlas-SEABOARD.

ATLAS was Marvel in the 1950's and 40's. I am sure Disney Holdings would very much OBJECT to the use of the IP.

The WHOLE Atlas-Seaboard story is one of bitterness, Jealousy and fAILURE.

As I mentioned before when these were first announced, You can read the whole SAD story in the above link, as I was lucky to get the print copy when it came out years ago.

Martin Goodman was ****ed cause his nephew or son in law (sorry, memory is shot) got FIRED by Stan the Man and Martin was gonna start a NEW Company and STEAL all of Stan's talent.

Hmmm. Sounds familar. Good luck to ya, Martin!

It woud be funny, if it didnt SCREW OVER the people working on these properties and were promised a shot of the "profits" and good wages as they LEFT Marvel and DC to go to this new company the PROMISE LAND.

ANd honestly, I can't see some kid walking down the aisle at wal-mart and looking at the Atlas-Seaboard figures and going; "Yeah man, I'm getting those."

I not saying it won't happen, but not on the scale that a 2025 teen kid in this society would o GAGA over for.

For us old Geezer's it is more likely, but even then if you ONLY Read the books and were acquainted with the characters.

I am sorry to say this cause I know a lot of you are going over the moon about this, but this smells of RIP OFF to me.

I think some one got the idea to hook up with MEGO and put out a series of figures to SHOW TO INVESTORS; to say: "HEY ARE CHARACTERS ARE IN WAL-MARTS ALL OVER THE USA, INVEST YOUR MONEY AND WE WILL MAKE BILLIONS LIKE MARVEL & DC! DONT B A SAP INVEST TODAY!!"

And the sad part is they will find some who will and some who won't and it might go somewhere and it might not.

Atlas-Seaboard in the movies. On TV, new comics???? Animated features (Cartoons),

Look at HELLBOY. Is it a HOUSEHOLD Name ala the big Boy-Scout or the Bat or even Iron Man or the Princess

Hellboy appeals to a certain niche crowd and I think Dark Horse and Mignola are happy that is does. Would they like to be more sucessful? I am sure they would, but at the same time, they know their limitations and how to market the IP. I know Guillermo (Del Toro) himself, knew that when he tackled the film.

So that is my 2ΒΆ I am sure a lot of you will think I am full of Chet, but That's what my gut is telling me. Sorry. I know that a lot of you are into this, but I think some Puppet-Master(S) behind the scenes are trying to pull a fast one.

Preach. Of the four remaining TRU locations in the greater Vancouver area, only one still has Mego figures at all (all figures at least three years old) and all Wal-Marts have finally divested their stock by marking down to $9.00 CAD per figure. This might be a great deal if I wanted to drive to the three or four locations still sitting on single "The Reptile" figures.

Not a great year for Mego at retail in the least. Don't expect to see any at retail locally again. It's a bit of a bummer.
