Which characters do you think will be released in the first four-pack that is supposed to be released in December? There is supposed to be five sets of four-packs by the time they are done. Twenty figures is way more than Mego originally produced. I'd hate to see them release a bunch of figures that look like the characters from the movies and tv shows. I want classic comic book style figures. What are your thoughts? I haven't been around for a while and can't believe this hasn't gotten a thread since the announcement. Which twenty characters do you think will eventually get released?

I have a feeling Disney/Marvel are the ones controlling the flow of information about this initiative and they are very rarely reasonable about the flow of information for their Marvel (or Star Wars)-related projects, whether it's film, TV, video games, comics, or toys. They very precisely control when and where info drops on these things occur.

I expect they will (re-)do FF and it would be reasonable to start this line with the team that started the whole Marvel Universe. I guess we will get repros of Spider-Man, Lizard and Goblin plus maybe Venom as a modern Villain. They could also do an Avengers 4-pack including Cap, Thor, Iron Man and Hulk. I, too, hope Mego/Disney won't do modern, movie-related figures. I would love to see some of the classic X-Men and additional Avengers. One of the 4-packs might focus on the major Marvel Villains like Dr. Doom and Magneto. Let's all hope there'll be some more news about this soon.Comment

Thor
Iron Man
Captain America
Spoder-Man (circle suit)
all in OG classic boxes (50th design)
but if they’re going to be out for Christmas they’re quickly running out of time. Hopefully there’s an announcement soonComment

I remember in the video that was posted a month or so ago by Mego saying that Marty was going to be at Disneyland for the announcement. But that could have changed. Who knows anymoreComment

So Spidey, Goblin, Lizard and newcomer Electro announced as wave 1 and available tomorrow. You could have given me 100 guesses and I don't think I would have ever landed on that 4-some as the combo for wave 1.
