    Walmart - Mego Question

I was at my local Walmart today checking for Super Powers because they just reset the toy department, but checked the collectibles section in the electronics department as well, just to see if they had anything new. They had done a reset there too and there were no longer any pegs for Megos in their aisle. Not for regular Mego blisters nor for the 50th Anniversary stuff, and there had been pegs for them when I was there last week. They had a couple of stray Megos (a Killer Clown and a Creepshow mummyish figure) randomly lying on the bottom shelf of the aisle without any price tag for them in that spot.

I don't follow the ambassadors page or any Mego presence on FB or any social media besides here any longer. Has there been any mention of a change in the relationship for distribution of Mego to Walmart or even if some of the stores that used to carry them will no longer do so that I might have missed? I was at the other Walmart in town earlier this week and they hadn't done an electronics/collectibles reset. They had no Megos but still had pegs for regular Mego (blisters) and 50th anniversary (boxes), but the reset at the one on my side of town was just done yesterday the clerk said. I've been out of the loop, but hoping to eventually catch the most recent wave of the 50th Anniversary stuff at my local stores, as I dislike ordering toys online (there's no fun or joy in it for me, it just feels like accumulating stuff without the experience of finding it in person), but if our local stories are not going to carry Mego any longer, I need to consider options.

My local Walmart (East Stroudsburg, PA) no longer has a section for Mego in the electronics/collectibles area. I don't know how well they sold but I know the small selection of 50th anniversary figures sat there for months gathering dust.

The 50th anniversary stuff mostly sold well at ours (Reverse Flash lingered an 1 Aquaman was left for a while). Some of the other stuff lingered for a bit though and my wife picked up a Michael Burnham Mego last weekend on clearance for $1, so that may be part of the equation, but a lot of other non-Mego stuff lingers a lot too (mostly Anime and Neca stuff) and that is what expanded and took up more peg space so who knows.

My contact told me ours isn't going to be carrying them any longer.
