Seriously, now that the EMCE is out of the picture and the Marvel license is up for grabs...who here thinks it's only a matter of time before FTC announces that they're going to produce Marvel Mego's?!
I say never say never! Remember when we all thought that FTC couldn't reproduce the Mego Batmobile with wheels that rolled, because of some weird licensing restriction?
I guess this is what you're referring too? Interesting! How COOL would it be if old Marty Abrams restarted Mego Corp.? WOW!!
yes, indeed. and they just posted on Facebook the other day that in the next few weeks an announcement will be made that will blow the doors off the action figure market

Honestly, I'm not much interested in FTC grabbing any other licenses unless they improve their sculpting, production/quality control, and scale issues.
I'd like to see King Features Megos too, for example, but who knows what we'd end up with?
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.

I agree with you on the crappy bodies and scale issues on "NEW" sculpts. I do however think FTC is cable of reproducing the original Mego Marvel sculpts.
That said...I would MUCH rather see Marty Abrams re-start Mego Corp.!!
