I agree with the majority here. Catwoman is a winner and I'll put Two-Face on my want-list, too. Mattel made a nice Two-Face, but I can't seem to find that figure for a reasonable price. I like the updated Batgirl-suit, but the sculpt is a definite deal-breaker. FTC meant well with Ivy, I think. Scarecrow is one of their best figures, but he has almost too much detail for a 'Mego'. With Ivy it just doesn't work. They should have used a screened suit and, as someone already pointed out, the Invisible Girl head would have suited the character better.

I was actually hoping they would do fishnets for Poison Ivy. Had they done green fishnets they would have been ready to sell them in different colors to get a good Black Canary and Zatanna!

And I agree that Mary Marvel's head would have been a lot better match for PI.

Scary how much better that custom Ivy looks than the FTC product. And that doesn't look like a million dollar custom (no offense intended) it looks like something that could just be put together with a little skill and effort. It nails the Mego look perfect for Ivy. While the FTC one is just a big whiff.Comment

They probably would have saved a lot of money.....and had an easier time selling them with that generic red head....it doesn't make senseComment

Couldn't agree more. You know my opinion on the FTC females. Looking at all the female figures I have purchased from them, every single one of their "new" female sculpts are "wierd" at best. There are only two of their original sculpts, IMHO, that even comes close to being acceptable AND looking like females and those are the Barbara Gordon head and the SF WW head. And even those, when viewed from the side, are flat and misshapen. And lantern-jawed.

That being said, I have beat this horse dead on numerous other threads here so I will just leave it at that.Comment
