With the sad news of Noel Neill's passing, it got me thinking. To the best of my knowledge, no one has made figures based on this classic show. I would love to see a line done by FTC, even if it were just the core characters. Kent, Lane, Olsen, White, Henderson, Superman (of course) and maybe a few of the more outlandish baddies.

Any chance we could get figures based on The adventures of Superman TV series?

I hope so 66 Batman was tied up do to legal matters for years now look at all the product out for it,i'd love a George reeves figure, and maybe some figures in black and white like the twilight zone figures. -
Sad to hear about Noel Neill she was the 1st screen Lois Lane and the definitive to many.
I'd love a FTC Adventures of Superman 8" figure Line!
George Reeves Superman color and B&W costumes
Reeves Clark Kent
Noel Neill and Phyllis Coates versions of Lois Lane
Jack Larson Jimmy Olsen
Perry White
Inspector Henderson
That's 8 figures for 2 waves
Of course I want the 1st 2 Christopher Reeve Superman movies, too!Comment

I would be all in regarding buying figures from the Superman TV show and Superman motion pictures. I never got around to affording a CR Hot Toys Superman so I'd love to own one of Reeves and Reeve as Superman and their cast/ensemble as sculpted by the talented FTC go-to-guy: DFA.Comment

I think those would be enticing lines to go after, I just don't know how profitable paying the estates for likeness would be once you assess demand. I think it definitely merits a look because I honestly think the Mego lines only thrive on vintage licensing. I haven't seen allot of success when the markets have tried to branch into newer brands. It would be fun to see a television series of heroes. My God. Could you imagine if they got the Marvel license for that? Oh wow...Comment

Batman '66 was tied up in the fight between rival studios (Fox and WB), a problem the original Supes series apparently isn't saddled by, as there were episodes released on DVD. I think, though, there would have to be a package deal like with Bat '66. where the WB does the work getting the likeness sign-offs and such as part of the license. I don't think that exists right now for the 50's series, though I would love a set of figures based on the show. I grew up on the original Supes series in syndication in the 70's, so it will always be an important part of the whole Superman mythos to me.Comment

Now I know Reeves and Carter likenesses have been made into merchandise but has anyone actually made licensed Reeves merchandise like statues or busts?
Just wondering where the likeness rights lay, he didn't have kids but he must have had family.Places to find PlaidStallions online: https://linktr.ee/Plaidstallions
