You must try to generate happiness within yourself. If you aren't happy in one place, chances are you won't be happy anyplace. -Ernie Banks -
Teemu, yes a carded release from FTC would make it official. Buying the parts and making it yourself would qualify it as a custom.Comment

FTC will do EXACTLY that...they will Cobble the current pieces available and make a card for it...
If you want a "variant" Alfred Batman...it's available NOW!Comment
-
That is incorrect, but you're free to think as you will.
Until FTC "cobbles" together the pieces and releases it themselves, anyone else who does so owns a custom figure.
Using your logic, I could put a Dick Grayson head on a Batgirl body, and since all the parts were available from FTC it's an "official variant".
And your bagged figure argument is flawed as well, as those are officially released versions, just without the card and clamshell.Comment

This "official" must be carded crap is nonsense and none of FTC will ever be worth anything in the future (especially to a generation that could care less about 8" mego dollies)
Now,If you want tranny Dick grayson,go ahead. The point is, the parts exist to make a 66 Batman Alfred in Batman disquise RIGHT NOW! on your own! It doesn't need to be "official" to be madeComment

You are correct. I just tried it. The cowl does not fit properly on Alfred's head. It sits a lil' too high, because of the hair and the cowl is also too small. (Alfred head was stretching Batman cowl.) I took the cowl off immediate for fear it would remain stretched and ended up looking like a helmet. ( I don't know why, but I keep wanting to buy another removable cowl Batman.) (CTVT did a great job on this figure.) Just FYI, Toycade has this fantastic figure on sale for $25.60 right now. I paid $29-ish for itComment

So if FTC decides to do a 66 Alfred Batman, the head would have to be shrunk or the cowl would
have to be altered? my guess is they wouldn't bother with either, but if enough requests are made?????
I would rather see them come out with vehicles, a 66 Batmobile and Batgirl cycle.Comment

Buy it! It is one of my favorite.....especially after transplanting him onto the Type S body. (I'm gonna get another head from CTVT and try and make 'em into a 1939-ish Batman.)Comment
