So one more thing the customer has to fix.

Yes, but I look at it this way,...
Remember as kids and after a weeks worth of play and Batman, Robin and Superman's emblems would fall off and we couldn't fix it?
I once tried drawing them on with a magic marker and just made it look worse.
At least I can fix this issue.

I used to little dabs of poster putty/quake putty in each shoe. Barbara's shoes are not coming off!

I've got loads of Barbie pumps that will fit, and they look loads better than the CTVT shoes.

So I got my Batman 66 Wave 5 today, and how sad. Batgirl's hair is a complete rat's nest, I have no idea how to fix it, it looks like it's been played with and completely ruined. When I took Batman out of his packaging, that molded glove fell off and would not snap back on, the stocking was riding above the molded boot and looked completely ragged. Chief O'hara looked great! Barbra Gordon was ok, the head was flat in the back looked odd. FTC should simplify the designs. Heck, the Batgirl original Mego version painted purple would have been better than this Batman 66 Batgirl. The hair is embarrassing to look at. So sad. I wanted so much to like these figures, but I can not lie.

^^ I tried brushing it out and it just won't straighten out. Also brushed out a lot of loose hair.

I'm with you on the Barbara Gordon figure. While overall I was actually pleased with how they did her, and the likeness isn't all bad, her misshapen head is kinda strange.

Gloves falling off is an easy fix....just pull out the peg and re-position it to stick out further in the socket so the glove will pop on

Did you swap her on a new body yet?

^^^ did, but the stupid baby hands look terrible, hair's a wreck, two head holes in a missculpted head, all the leg joints are frozen solid on the body, belt I would have to redo, total slop paint job with paint rubs right off the card, ohh, and a wire is poking thru the cape. I am contemplating sending the whole mess back for a refund. Just an awful figure for 30 bucks.

I took my chances and ordered the full set from BBTS. I won't see them for a while since I want to get my new computer desk setup before I ship out my Pile of Loot that has a mess of FTC figures going back to Superman Series 2, but since it's a display piece, i think I will move her to a Dr. Mego body with the hips snapped in. That might help with the belt being on the hips. Problem is, the hips don't stay in on those bodies one you move the legs.

That's hitting the use of the likeness hard. It's seems like it is either recouping cost as fast as possible, or there is a limited window that FTC can use Craig's likeness.
FTC didn't need to get Craig's likeness; it's part of the '66 license. It was Warner Bros that had to do the negotiations; from what I understand, the '66 license is a blanket deal where Warners does all the heavy negotiations and the companies buy the license to do specific types of product. Now, there might have been an add-on cost to include Craig when she finally agreed, but I don't know. THere's likely some actor approval process worked into the deal, but that wouldn't be any different for her than any of the other actors from the show. I think the plethora of Barbara figures is simply playing catch up and taking advantage of the new head mold. She is one of the major characters in the show and is late to the game in this line.

I hear ya! On mine, the right knee was frozen and in trying to get it to move, it started showing a small stress/crack area. Along with all of the other stuff you mentioned, her left elbow was as limp and loose as an overcooked egg noodle.

can be fixed using a hairdyer or just put her on a better body....it improves her dramatically

why should I have to fix it you say?

because with FTC,we have no choice....It's either accept what they make as is, fix it and make it better, or just don't buy it

Some of the fun of collecting these are making it better
