mattel new super girls line 12 inch figures from NYC 2016 Toy convention

Btw.. There was talk on this thread how Mattel was going to mass produce these.. Not the case. Target had them exclusively and they are a limited run.... The 6 inch figures seem to be a larger production line

That is correct. I believe it is 6 months.

We picked up Wonder Woman and Harley for my daughter's birthday last Friday (and, actually, we have a Super Girl stowed away for later). These are really nice figures. My daughter has been having a lot of fun playing with them.

I was at Target today and they had12" Batgirl, Wonder Woman, Poison Ivy, Supergirl, and Harley Quinn, and BB.

They also had 6" Wonder Woman and Bumble Bee. -Chris

Personally, I like the idea of the 6" actual action figures; companies haven't really tried that since the 80's (She-Ra, Golden Girl). When Power Rangers first came out, the girls were buying the rangers figures just like the boys. Bandai even made some 12" fashion dolls of the female rangers which sat and collected dust; the girls still wanted the real things to play alongside the boys. The concept is worn out (Monster High wasn't original to begin with, and this is that idea re-dubbed with costumes), but it has some potential to catch on with the girls and maybe bring Mattel out of the 1950's as far as attitudes toward girl and boy toys are concerned.

I saw 6" Bumble Bee and WW at Target today.
