If I would hazard a guess, I'd say it's price point. a $200-$300 bat mobile doesn't conflict with Mattel/Hot Wheels product.Comment

Here's my HeroCross Batmobile with the Figures Toy Company Batman & Robin...
FYI...There's a solid wall under the dashboard so you can't extend the figures legs completely. That means the 8" figures can't sit in the vehicle. It's still pretty cool. I'd classify this as a display piece due to how fragile it is and definitely not a toy to be played with. It's kind of heavy. All wheels do spin and the steering wheel does turn the front wheels left and right.

It is a quality piece, but I think it is a worse fit for Mego than the $50 Mattel version that has been at TRU the past couple of years. If you were to sit the figures down their feet would extend through the headlights on this one.Comment

Yikes, for something so expensive and amazing they really made an awful commercial for it. There is nothing worse than a commercial or promo when you have someone who looks uncomfortable or doesn't know much about the product. kermit.jpgComment
