    Thanks!

I printed the WW symbol on a label, then stuck the label to metal foil. Then cut that out and sewed it to the top.

The end result was strong enough to hold its shape.

Aquaman looks the best, but Black Lightning and El Dorado are not too shabby. I agree with the smile issue. They should have smiles! Wonder Woman, well she looks like she has a "sweet personality" But I still don't want to take her out! Head is BIG, this is a case where I think moulded hair would look better, etc. I like the costume, may get the figure just for that!

That would be more reasonable, still a little high though. I am glad one of the Mego forum members found these and shared.

I think wave two looks pretty great. Yeah, they're not 100% but the characters looks changed all the time on the show.
I think they should do random chase figures of Batman, Robin, and Superman with the emblem colors reversed. They were ALWAYS doing that on the show and it would be really cool get one as a surprise.

We are we seeing this first on a Japanese website, did you notice they are costing 180.00 a piece in US dollars. I am sure these look better in person, the Superfriends Wave 1 certainly did. If these are being shown in the package, they must be close to release, where are the preorders? I am wondering what Wonder Woman will look life in her Wave, its supposed to be a new sculpt. Wave 1 was Wonder Woman, Diana Prince, Steve Trevor and Silver Swan. Since two Wave of Superfriends are coming, where is the Legion of Doom. Lots and new stuff, lots of unproduced DC characters, this is getting exciting....

These are all really neat. But I think I will pass on them until someone unloads a collection for cheap. They're not 100% there, but they're cute. Smiles would definitely help. Black Vulcan looks like he's ready to go splashing in some rain puddles.

Back to the first set of figures, are Superman's trunks made so a thicker belt could be used and have it cover more of the red at the top??? If so, Superman could still be viable. Otherwise he is a definite skip for me.

Superman's trunks and Black Vulcan's boots are the low points in this series for me.

Comparing the Wonder Woman to the original Mego Wonder Woman, it actually isn't too bad. I wish they had used less outlining, but I can see why they did it. I'll add her to my Wonder Woman figures. It gives me hope for how the Wonder Woman line next year will handle her. No Pajamas! YAY! Tiara is not removable. Boo.

Aquaman is definitely one of the best so far. The cross hatching effect on the shirt looks good and I'm glad it is used only to highlight, not over the entire shirt.

El Dorado is pretty good. I remember one of my first customs of this figure coming from a Ponch figure and I miss the bigger hair. LOL But this is actually a pretty good sculpt. (Just placed it. He kinda looks like one of the Star Trek TNG Romulans!)

Can't help but hate the ultra thick boots on Black Vulcan. They make his bare legs even more obvious. But the legs are character accurate so I guess I can't complain too much. *sigh* Poor choice by the original cartoon designers. Maybe I'll cut down a set of regular yellow boots.

^^ I doubt WW is even a new sculpt, probably one of the generic heads repainted to sorta match the Toth artwork.

I'm sadded by Wonder Woman...Farrow must have had a long day and Wonder Woman was his last sculpt.
Looks nothing like the Toth Card art, and aside from the suit, not worth $27.
( granted, I'm definitely in the "buy them Loose Bagged" camp, as I have no room for Cards, but this
just cements me more in that camp).

El Dorado is ok, I may get him ( loose). Black Vulcan....I agree should have had the long pants.
Never was a fan of the Shortpants, but I may get this one ( loose) to go on my shelf.
Aquaman looks ok, but I'll pass.

All in all, this only makes me a bit fearful for some of the ones I do really want,
like Batman, Grundy, Toyman, and Brainiac. I don't know if they will match the quality of Robin,
which IMHO, is the best of the SuperFriends line thus far...

why do ftc make so many variations of one character is it that d.c. didn't have many characters or that ftc are trying to get as much milage as possible out of one character.
