I ordered mine today. Hit a bit of a snag trying to order with my Samsung phone, but my order placed without a hitch when I tried on a desktop computer. Very relieved I placed an order in time. I don't know if the limited quantities are close to selling out, but I didn't want to risk it what with folks double dipping on their purchases.

I've had this in my cart 3 times now, entered my address, then get to the credit card page, see 52 and change and simply cannot do it.

I understand the costs of this figure, a special sculpt commissioned for a run of 1000. But at the 40 dollar price tag along with the really high shipping rate, just pushes it over the edge for me.

Not to come off as rude but I could walk into a post office and ship it cheaper. And surely you guys have a business agreement with a shipper for reduced rates. I just don't see how shipping cost 13 bucks. You guys are a comic shop, I'm sure you have ample amounts of boxes and packaging from your shipments.

Sorry, I have really wanted his variant since the line started, but I can't help but feel I'm paying through the teeth and then some.

It's definitely expensive and I hesitated, but in the end, I figured it was worth it to get a figure that should just have one run. And whenever I decide not to get something like this, it inevitably goes up in price, which is usually higher than I am willing to pay to get it, so I miss out. Worst case, if I am not happy with what I paid for, I can sell it and get some of my money back up, all of it back, or even more. That's a better scenario for me than missing it and risking the price soar on the secondary market.

Hi!

I understand the frustration with the shipping cost. Our online shop has a tiered shipping fee, based on a USPS Priority Mail flate rate envelope, a medium box, and a large box. Those fees are $6, $13, and $18. For us, this is the fastest, safest, and most efficient way to get our merchandise out to the buyer. Unfortunately, we do not yet ship out enough boxes for any volume discount with a shipping service.

It all comes down to what fits in each size envelope/box. On the plus side, two Mego figures fit in a medium flat rate box, so they would still only cost $13 shipping. Also, when you purchase a bunch of items, the cost never goes higher than the $18 tier. In addition, if you purchase an expensive item that requires more insurance, we pay for that without raising the shipping cost.

I know this doesn't make ordering one Mego any cheaper for you, but I hope it helps explain the cost.
