I would think expected surplus if they had a minimum order amount. They probably had the bodies and whatever else repurposed for upcoming lines as a way to cut costs. Why keep a Tarzan together when you can use the body for Superman Wave 2?

It was never going to be a massive seller. Tarzan's really irrelevant until someone does a huge reinvention.

And they've got a bunch of POTA clothes for sale. That's kinda weird.Comment

It's not that weird. They can make all the apes clothes they want without paying for a license as long as they don't call them "Planet of the Apes". They're listed as soldier jacket and general jacket.Expectation is the death of discovery.Comment

I wonder if they could do a couple of Astro apes?
Or just a random ape, chimp, gorilla or baboon?“When you say “It’s hard”, it actually means “I’m not strong enough to fight for it”. Stop saying its hard. Think positive!”Comment

I wasn't implying that they were breaking any laws or anything. The weird thing is is that they don't make any "Ape" figures to put these things on. Sorry for being vague about the weirdness.

If I had some extra POTA heads laying about I'd be snapping up these clothes, believe me.Comment
