I think someone referred to it as vaporware, maybe that should be the category. I'd have to guess that the Monkees and the HB stuff won't make fall, since there is no preorder or pictures of either line as of yet.

Right now I have 4 figures that are up for pre-order that I plan on getting at some point.
Kresge Joker and Harley and Super Friends Samurai and Apache Chief.

I'm definitely in the Pick and Choose category of collectors.

I'll get the other 2 diversity characters but I'll hold off on the main characters of the Super Friends until I see how Batman and Wonder Woman turn out. Superman looks OK, but not great in my book. And another Robin would be silly without a good looking Batman to go with him.

Scarecrow I'm holding off on because I expect him to be repackaged if we ever see the Neal Adams Batman line. It is a great looking figure, but it isn't a character I was that excited about.

I'll probably get the 66 Batgirl when it comes out. I may get duplicates of her to give as gifts. I'll hold off on Barbara Gordon until I see what her face looks like once they come out.

The Teen Titans could draw me in but so far we haven't seen anything really on them. The 4 listed to be in Series 1 sound good. I could see getting all 4 of them. But so far they are vapor-ware (as we say in the software business).

Other than that, I'm probably most excited about the Wonder Woman series next year. I have high hopes for this series, but again "vapor ware" until we see prototypes.

Sigh Summer is over and I have doubts about fall. This happened last year, a big grouping of figures just before Christmas that limits what can be bought all at once.
