5 out of 12 of the Kresge figures that I just received have issues and I will have to eventually replace them. Very disappointing after all the money spent on these. And I won't open mine to fix them. Once they have been opened and touched by human hands they are as good as loose figures to me. I might try to see if FTC will replace the 5 defective figures and see how that goes.

Have you seen any of the factory production photos posted here? These figures are assembled, painted, dressed, and packaged all by human hands. Your figures have been touched aplenty whether they're still sealed or not. You straightening them out isn't gonna make a bit of difference. You could even wear plastic gloves if it makes you feel better.

I have to adjust my figures in my packages almost every single time. I can always make them look better in just a few minutes. Being able to adjust them and close back up the package without ripping the plastic off the bubble is a great thing. Every figure in the World is made and Handled by Humans. No Robot factories yet!

As much as I'd really like to see blister cards, it's great that the clams can opened to straighten the figures out. A thoughtful touch I say.

If they aren't going to make sure the figures don't get messed up during shipping, they should include extra zip ties like they did with the two packs. I shouldn't have to pay more $$ for zip ties if the product isn't as it should be. That said, I asked a couple of times and they mailed them free of charge. Customer Service is great, Quality Control needs to improve especially since it seems pricing is going up.

I've been opening them with a tiny Screw Driver since the very first shipment... Even posted the Screw driver set I purchased from Kmart for $4... Or any eyeglass screwdriver will work

I generally will open the packages since it is so easy to open the zip ties and reseal them. Even though I display them in their clam shells, I want to make sure that there isn't anything too wonky like broken pieces just in case I decide to sell something later. I also prefer female figures to have non-molded hair and that always looks better if you fix it after they arrive.

My next question though. Has anyone taken the Batman figure and painted the mask front black and whited out the eyes yet to make it match the picture? I'm wondering how that will go and if it really improves the figure. If so, can you post a picture?

I want to get the smaller Robin, but I'd like to order the permanent mask Batman to go with it. I'd also like to redo the Batman head but would rather see how someone else's turns out first. hehehe

Something I've always wanted to ask a loose collector (just out of curiosity). Once you remove the figure, do you keep the packaging or throw it away?

                      This.
I had to "fix" over half of my Kresge-carded FTCs. They look great now and required very little effort.

Hate me, but unless I've brought a vintage fig in package, I toss the wrappings. I'm in it for the toy. What's the point in having a toy you can't "play" with? Although play for this adult (Sic) is twenty minutes getting it in an interesting pose and then leaving it on the coffee table.

from the batman series I've kept the cards, and have sold off the clamshells. Wish they would make boxes instead, those I would keep.

Boxes would be awesome and are high on my wishlist along with blister cards. I've said it before that blister cards would absolutely nail the vintage feel to these figures, but at the same time boxes would be the cherry on the cake.
FTC, any chance of a RM Robin on a 'Kresge' blister card???? PLEASE!!!!!!!!!

My comment about " touched by human hands " was intended to mean after they have been produced and sealed for collector display. I knew when I made that comment that some would find it amusing. I do collect loose figures to enjoy but my primary collection ( especially vintage ) is al MIB, MOC, MIP. Everyone should enjoy their collection the way they prefer whether loose or in package no matter what others think.

from a shipping and space standpoint boxes would be better too.
