What Ever Happened to This?

My personal wish would be that they make the 70's Batman in a dark blue similar to the 66 Batman. But I expect they will do it in the light, almost aqua blue that the comics used as a highlight for the black it was meant to be. Hopefully the inside of the cape at least will be black, and LONG. Maybe they will do a black or dark blue variant later on.

After all, he was supposed to be a bat, not a bluebird of happiness.

That being said, I'd probably buy both as long as the head isn't huge. He also isn't supposed to be a bluebird bobble head.

I believe and will always believe that Batman's costume was supposed to be blue.
To my eye, it looks like a blue costume with black shadows as opposed to the KISS comics that had their costumes drawn black with blue highlights.

I have to totally disagree with you, blue has ALWAYS been a highlight for black in comics(hence the BLUE in Superman's hair ). However, that being said...I do want it Neal Adams/Jim Aparo BLUE for the sake of the 70's style look.

I'm just hoping they do him in a darker blue instead of baby blue. Baby blue just isn't intimidating. Granted, that could be why the Joker is always laughing.
