WHAAAA?! Holy Pre-Order!

while I will not be purchasing them, I hope that FTC sells through on them so that they can produce other playsets,
such as a Baxter Building and a Superman's Fortress, and of course the Wayne Foundation. Looking at these price points, makes me believe the WF would MSRP at about $129. I certainly hope not! Under or around $100 would be the sweet spot for me.....

I seriously doubt the Wayne Foundation would come in under $100; that would be huge, and I'm rather surprised the Batcave came in this cheap. These are low production runs (probably REALLY low by industry standards), and I honestly expected things to be a bit pricier. I've already ordered both (separately so one doesn't get held up waiting for the other), and was expecting to have to set aside more for the 'cave.

It's really good to see them putting some of the announced stuff up at long last. Hopefully the pre-orders keep coming.

The Batcave almost requires no tooling. I bet the bat signal was the majority of the cost there.

The Shark is all tooling, that couldn't have been cheap.

While I had more fun with my Batcave (as a kid) than any child could have,
I had originally decided not to purchase this FTC version due to space.
Now, I find myself looking at these photos and the low price,....
Yeah, I'm in.

FTC can kill 2 birds with 1 stone- make Patrick Duffy Man from Atlantis and Dallas Bobby Ewing figures! Same head different hands of course!

We still need a Larry Hagman Major Nelson but Jeannie was over a dozen years before Dallas and he'd be younger!

really??? I was thinking $80 for the shark set is a good price but way to high on the batcave. you can buy a vintage one for less than that

I know that it was 40 years ago (1975) but if I remember correctly, my Bat Signal stopped working very early on. The cardboard Bat Computer didn't last long either. The rest of the cave lasted (with daily play) till 1977 at the very least.

I am ordering at least one Aquaman vs GWS, even though I have an orginal (MIB), and the custom redo that was offered last year. As a HUGE Aquaman fan I am a sucker for buying Aquaman figures and I REALLY want a web-fingers Aquaman. I still have my Mego Batcave in perfect condition so that is a pass for me. I am thinking on a pass on the Wayne Foundation I own two Mego now, and one I have retrofitted into a bookself for the Hall of Justice with two workout areas. One level I refitted the Dyna-Mite Gym and the other I refitted the Big Jim Kung Fu studio. My Garage is full since the Batmobile and the Supermobile are parked in it.

fair enough, I did not mean a boxed one though. I bought a loose one for $20 a few years back, with the bat signal. missing a few other parts yes, but I still think way more cost effective than $80.00. but that is just my opinion

i just had to pre-order these two ,never had either as a kid ,didnt even know about Aquaman vs Shark back then,oooh did i want a batcave
