Don't get me wrong, I can LIVE w/out a 66 Lee Meriwether Catwoman......But I'd at least buy x1 for my MIB 66 collection. 2-3 of each for Julie Newmar & Eartha Kitt! They were SO very different in their Catwoman portrayal, & I LOVE them BOTH & need figures of them BOTH! But would take a Lee Catwoman too!

Batgirl is a MUST for me. I watched Batman 66 reruns after my homework every weeknight & my stomach would FLIP & fill w/ butterflies every time I saw Batman & Robin threw their punches & instead of Batman throwing a 2nd punch (season 1 & 2), I saw cartoon BATGIRL swing in w/ a high-heeled KICK on her Bat-rope! I always got really excited. Batgirl has supposedly already been sculpted awhile ago!

I just bought the 66 accessory pack finally. Got it from FTC amazon page. Was 79.99 but amazon gave me free shipping. I think FTC would have charged more. I had bought an extra Batman and Robin just so I could put the gas mask heads on them.

At this point, Batgirl and Julie Newmar Catwoman are the only other characters I really want from this line. I'd probably buy a green suited Riddler just because he was such a recurring character.

I've reached the point of picking and choosing which characters I will buy.

I'm hoping for as many as possible, but hope they don't make obscure ones that I am making until wayyyyyyyyyyyyy later. Working on a Sandman and Clock King. Hope Mickey Moose keeps us updated so I don't make the ones they do.

Love Love LOVE that MegoKnight! I always LOVE your custom work! Was this a dye job?

*MegoKnight & other museum of Mego customizers, *Can the white CTVT female bodies or the Dr. Mego/EMCE Bride of Frankenstein white body take the RITT dye well? My first custom that isn't just costume & head changes is nearing completion, an Mego?EMCE star Trek FEMALE Mugato. I have the recipes all ready for female EMCE/Mego Star Trek TOS Aliens! But they aim to be MEGO 70s attempt at making them & some are so SO FUNNY looking. I have the Mugato costume to trim down & sized to fit a female Bride of Frankenstein body. I have BRIGHT Orange generic 70s Mego Boots w/ the high heels mathing her male Mugato's feet perfectly, but I'm hoping to dye her body bright orange & hope the hands take as well. If not I at least want to get CTVT female red hands & see if they are orangy enough to fit the bill! Also need to dye some white female bodies light blue for Andorians & a Keeper female.

The new formulation of rit dye doesn't work on pvc like the old one did.

Ohhhhhh CRAP on a Fudging CRACKER! I literally had these Star Trek female aliens set up in my head for many years, yes some will be obviously presented in a ridiculous take of how Mego would of done them using frugality as their guide.

Thank You thunderbolt SO VERY MUCH for letting me kow this, & so quickly! Good guy you are TBolt! The museum is my fav TOY related website, since it's a community & not just a board. *Was just thinking how peaceful & blissful it's been here at the museum lately. NO fighting back & forth endlessly. No chronic complaining about FTC's products due to repeated goading & belittling! I love the peace! I hope me mentioning the absence of a STRESS inducing instigator won't jinx us all! I hope I didn't cause us to have a Troll's curse cast upon all our houses! OK, over dramatic rant over!

Oh T-Bolt, a couple more ???s, is there:
1.) any other dyes that work on repro Mego Bodies?
2.) Is there anyplace that may still have the older Ritt dyes? How long ago did they change the formula?

T-Bolt, *Thanks Again 4 the info you provided & especially the speed at which you delivered it!

An O'Hara release before a Gordon release? Not a bad idea.

Sincerely, that's the way I'd do it. It'd be a kind of "pledge" from FTC that Gordon WILL show up eventually. Yet it'd have a very "66-y" offering actually on sale, there, as O'Hara is so UNIQUELY '66-y.

On a side note, with FTC already having the generic WGSH Gordon out, it might help sell a few extra of those things during the 6-month-or-so gap preceding an actual TV '66 Gordon release, and, with two versions of the more "civilian" character, I think there's a better chance for cross-promotion of the two lines....but that's just "FTC benefit/business" talk/conjecture

Bottom line: Personally? I don't have ANY of these '66 8-inchers yet (opting for the Mattel 6-inch action figures to satiate my '66 needs). But, I am POSITIVE that if FTC releases O'Hara, Gordon and Alfred, then I'd be ALL in for buying up the whole line.

It's a "personal taste" thing that I'm sure many longtime TV Batman fans can relate to (in spite of them already having jumped into the FTC line). For me, as a kid-'66-fan, only eight (8) characters really meant anything significant to me: Batman, Robin, Joker, Riddler, Penguin, Gordon, O'Hara and Alfred.

So, yeah, personally, I'd be all in (excluding non-AE variants), if they release Gordon/O'Hara/Alfred... wouldn't even need the Bat/Cat chicks, 'cause I'd have to have that "magically nostalgic eight".
"No. No no no no no no. You done got me talkin' politics. I didn't wanna'. Like I said y'all, I'm just happy to be alive. I think I'll scoot over here right by this winda', let this beautiful carriage rock me to sleep, and dream about how lucky I am." - Chris Mannix

It was. I stripped the color and redid it a fushia? / red mixture.

Oh & sorry guys for derailing this thread! I will remember to post ???s about how to customize in the Customs threads here @ the Museum! Sorry.

                                On Topic,

                                I REALLY HOPE FTC's Batman 66: CATWOMAN (I presume it'll be Julie Newmar's 1st) comes:
                                1.) in WAVE 4 @ the Latest!
2.) with *REMOVABLE Mask! (Catwoman used to go maskless very frequently in the show -but a removable MASK & Cat Ears via a headband would be AWESOME!)
3.) with a Cat-O-9-Tails or whip would be a great inclusion, but can skip it IF Catwoman has the removable Mask & Cat ears!
4.) before EARTHA Kitt's Catwoman because Newmar's was both the original 66 CW & appeared in 12/15 appearances. + FTC would only have to spend the cost of sculpting/tooling Eartha's head & making a brown female body! + add a Gold Cat gun from her team up w/ Joker in the 2-part season 3 episode!
