^I suspect they will; FTC has done pretty well with B66 costumes so far. Hopefully they choose a pleather that looks like the show but still allows posing.WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.Comment

I hate the Velcro in general. It works well in back closures and reduces bulk in front vest closures, but yuck.
But HoD, how can a suit-jacket snap in back?WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.Comment

I was just saying that if they have to use Velcro on Bookworm's coat, maybe it could be put in the back somehow as to not ruin the look of the figures front.
I actually removed the Velcro from both the Joker and Shame's jackets because (Like You) I didn't like the look of it either.Comment

Aha, OK, I hadn't realized that about some of the trousers because I hadn't opened all of them. Sorry about that!
I agree with you about removing the Velcro, but the problem with the pleather is that, since it's not woven, any holes from stitching will show as perforations if it is removed.
Two sets of snaps on the jacket-front, hidden in the gold trim, would serve better.WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.Comment

If you look at some of the pants on the Batman 66 figures, they Velcro in the back.

I also removed it from my Joker and Shame as well. Joker never ever never appeared on the show with his jacket closed. FTC should have known that had they researched. He didn't need the Velcro and it looks just plain awful with the jacket closed to hide the Velcro. Shame is even worse. I mean a beautiful detailed cowboy jacket ruined by Velcro. The inside vest need it, they close so it hides. Outside coats don't need the Velcro. I hope to heck they don't add it on Bookworm, because I don't know how easy it will be to remove it on that material. Joker and Shame were easy.
