Here is the FTC Conan on a Type-1 ZICA body:

I boiled his head to get it off the FTC body. It was really hard to get it off, but I managed to do it without hurting the neck plug. I also took the opportunity to comb his hair, which made it look much less poofy. I'm really happy with the final result. I know when the ZICA bodies came out several people made ZICA Conans before, but FTC has made it so easy now. The hard part is tracking down an original ZICA body if you don't already have one.

As I said before, the head/body skin tone is very close to a perfect match. The neck plug was a little too long, so I had to trim it down, and the head is still a little loose, but I plan to fix that next.

All of Conan's clothes and accessories feel very well made and don't feel like they would break easily.

Even before the body swap, I think this is one of the finest FTC re-mego figures. After the swap, I think its one of my favorite figures in my whole collection!

Can't wait to see your pics of FTC CONAN on that body Paul! Thanls for posting the pics! I think since Conan's head has always been a little oversized, KULL doesn't look bad next to him at all. I also agree w/ you that the quality of KULL's costume looks fantastic! I hope you don't think I'm a "HATER" just because I'm vocal about FTC releasing BIG (Oversized IMO) heads on their NEW figures.....In fact I wasn't going to say anything until your comment gave Player his opening for a snide remark about "The Usual Suspects". He can't help himself but try for the reaction & attention he seems to crave. But I hope you don't think my opinions & comments about FTC's products mean I don't totally appreciate the AWESOME & revealing pictures you post. I am very glad you post your pics, as they literally show me exactly what the product looks like. S I appreciate the pics & hope you don't think I'm trying to be a "Hater". I don't know why some people take the comments personally. So Thanks & I look so forward to seeing CONAN on that body! What figures came w/ the that BODY anyways? In case I want to track on down to make my Conan perfect!

I think they both look good! I have no real interest in the characters outside of Conan either, but I have a set coming my way via the EE 40% off sale.

Conan looks good to me. The other characters are okay but like others have said I have no real interest in them. If they were readily available at retail I might be tempted because of my addiction ( ) but the wait time in rdering online kills the impulse buy that these would be for me.

^^^Thanks for the pics, Paul! They do look great... Sorry for the haters! With the exception of Conan, the other characters are not of any interest to me though.^^^

I was going to buy two of each, but now I think I'll only get one of each. This is the first Solomon Kane figure ever made, so I'm buying it pretty much for that reason alone, even if it does look kind of goofy.

A shame as I really wanted the other two.
Same here. I intended to buy all three, but I only like Conan, now I've seen the finished product. Some terrific artwork on the Conan card, it's going to be hard to decide whether to keep him carded or loose.

Kull actually has a Ted Cassidy vibe along with Jim Shooter. The head doesn't look as out of whack as Alfred. I think its the addition of hair that's really throwing off the proportions. Still want to see if Kane is the same mess his prototype was, tho.

    Back On Topic..................

*Can Anybody who has FTC CONAN & also has MEGO CONAN take side-by-side pics for comparison???????

It looks like FTC did great on their Conan.

I 1st saw GENE Simmons in the SOLOMON CANE sculpt, & now I see it in the KULL figure!

In a straight-jacket rocking myself in a padded cell......the psychiatrist tells my family that I just keep saying the same thing: (Me):"I see Gene Simmons. EVERYWHERE I look, I see BIG HEADED Gene Fudging SIMMONS!" - lol.

    I was planning on buying:

    x2 CONAN
    x2 Solomon Kane
    x2 Kull

*BIG HEADS are literally affecting my purchases as now I will buy x1 or 2 CONAN figures & will NOT buy ANY Kull or Solomon Cain figs.

    - x4 figs @ $30 ea. from me = -$120.00 in 1 FTC sale.

*FTC should read & respect the comments on here AND their FACEBOOK page. BIG HEADS wins for the MOST common complaint by a HUGE margin. As HUGE a margin as their NEW character's HEADS. When I stripped down *FTC's SUPERMAN & Bizarro yesterday to look for the reasons behind FTC inferior posing due to their bodies, You should see naked FTC Supes head right next to FTC Bizarro's Head. It's unbelievable The player would continue to TROLL people who don't worship FTC blindly & see that this FTC BIG HEAD problem Is a BIG problem & FTC is HEADING into looking like they could care less that they are losing SALES!

I have NEVER EVER ONCE seen someone say: BBP & FTC PLEASE /keep making BIG out of proportion HEADS that will be out of scale w/ Mego figures! You know.....the reason we're all here & buying these products!

    Message to FTC:

*BIG HEADS KILL............TOY Lines! ....................Just ask other companies.

Many Thanks for the pics. I wonder can the Conan head be swap onto the ZICA body (not type S) or the original banded CAT body. (The CAT body was darker tone.) (I should be getting my Conan and Kull sometime next week.) Thanks again for the pics.

Either way, the package likely wouldn't have even arrived at the shipper's sorting center for 12 hours.

Then it could sit there for another 6-12 hours before it is checked in. Then it would likely sit there for a few more hours before it was loaded onto a truck or plane or ship for travel to the next sorting center. Standard procedure. So getting a tracking number and not seeing any movement for a day or so is nothing out of the ordinary. If you ever order from Amazon, for example, you see this with almost every order. You are given a tracking number, but it doesn't actually show the package as being in transit for a minimum of 12 hours, sometimes as long as 36.

    Standard procedure.
Nice theroy, but false. The moment the item is in the carriers hands it gets scanned and then scanned again at the sorting facility. But either way, its been over 36 hours, still not found. If there is any delay in the tracking information showing up it means the item is not yet in the hands of the carrier. So it could be they printed the shipping labels all at once and then are taking several days to package up the items, which is again, not the right way to do it.
