I wish so badly that was true, but the Farrow mentioned a Chief O'Hara in an interview I believe. Mickeymoosemego previously mentioned having seen protos for what I believe he said were FTC 66 versions of Commissioner Gordon & maybe Chief O'Hara? I also think that FTC or the Farrow mentioned in an interview that 66 BATGIRL & Barbara Gordon were sculpted (or were being sculpted at that time). So it looks like AT LEAST the Commissioner Gordon, Chief O'Hara & Barbara Gordon will be joining future 66 Bat VILLAINS, Not to mention they'd obviously do ALFRED in 66 style if they are doing the other 3 I just mentioned.

Unfortunately I believe there will be other 66 BATMAN & ROBIN figures in each WAVE FTC produces, & further Batman & Robin variants should be relegated to EXCLUSIVES IMHO IF FTC wants to get out all the VILLAINS collectors are actually vying for.

*FTC should release the BATMAN 1966 Waves 4-6 that I proposed a few pages back! I should be the FTC wave planner for DC & 1966 BM! lol!

Releasing a new Batman and Robin every wave is something a retail released kid's line would do, not online collector lines. Really starting to bother me, these last ones are already so phoned in its painful.

I understand releasing them later on so people who come in late to the line can get them, but considering the originals are still readily available it's just a waste. If this was a retail line it'd be a disaster.

As a person who was going completest, these last reveals have me clutching my wallet.

Do you know what I would have bought? The new headsculpt Batman tied to the table, and either the rc or a new struggling head for Robin tied to the table. It's like they took 2 elements that would warrant a purchase of a figure I practically already own and split it into two releases making both seem not worth it.

I don't mind variants, but these right now art getting bad. I'm not spendimg another 50 bucks just on a new face sculpt and a crappy cloth mask, or another 60 just for two tables and rope. They sell the brown table s6nd the ropes I'll get it. Seems like a cool display option, just not when the included figures are exactly the same.

they sell the same tables loose under the wrestling gear. The New Batman and Robin are an easy pass for me as I already have a Batman and RM Robin is not show accurate. I look at it as CTVT is saving me 50 bucks.

There you go. Exactly. I think at some point you'll see CTVT sell the alternate heads of Batman as well. You can already get the gloves and boots (and in different colors), so all of it will be parted out eventually.

Not thrilled to see so many variants of Batman and Robin, but I do want the line to continue with more new characters. I think a wave with Batgirl, Catwoman, Mr Freeze and King Tut could easily stand alone with Batman and Robin.

I agree! For a retail kids toy line, releasing the main characters in each wave would make a bit of sense, but not as much for a collectors line. I am not planning to get every figure anyway, so this wave will be a pass for me. I would like to see more villains and supporting characters!

'66 versions of Gordon and O'Hara are more important to me than Batgirl, season 3 isn't my thing.

I'll still get her of course!

They just have the crappy white one, which is sculpted as a wood table, looks awful. Robin's is painted like wood and looks much better. Having that would be cool, considering how many times people were thrown onto tables that broke in the 66 show. Plus having the dynamic duo tied up. Why Batman has a white one I don't know, looks weird. It's like the crimals bought one table and rope at one place then went to a yardsale and found a beat up table painted white and some different coloured rope.

Like I said before if they would have combined these releases I could stomach to spend 60 bucks on something I pretty much own. But spending over 100? No.

I agree, Batgirl is at the very bottom of figures I want. Catwoman is far more important to me (even Eartha and Lee as Catwoman over Batgirl) I would be very upset if Batgirl comes out before Julie's Catwoman. We don't need Batgirl to carry any wave. Catwoman can carry a wave. Add big gun villains like King Tut and Mr. Freeze and you have a better and more solid wave than this wave 3 for sure. The only Batman variant I care to see at this point is Surfer Batman. Variants don't belong in any waves. They do fine as exclusives. I can't believe FTC was doing it so right with this line up till wave 3. Even the tied up Batman and Robin figures that I hate, still they were put out the right way as exclusives and not clogging up space in a wave. New face Batman and RM Robin don't belong in wave 3. Even Commissioner Gordon and Alfred would had been much better choices. Sticking more versions of Batman and Robin in waves will only push back the villains longer. Endless versions of Batman and Robin in waves is a Hasbro/Mattel move. Not a company like FTC.

since there are only 4 more villains to go on the card backs I would be willing to bet we will see Batgirl, Gordon, O'Hara and Alfred pad out waves so they get at least two more out of the line before they run out of the big names. False Face and The Archer are the other two big ones that seem to be MIA.

^ You're forgetting Clock King, Queen of Diamonds, Minstrel, Louie the Lilac, multiple Mr Freezes and more. They could do this all day if they wanted to providing they have the likenesses. Even henchmen could pad out the waves some more. Penguin, Joker and Catwoman all employed guys that had distinctive costumes.

I am pretty sure False Face can be made since the actors face is never shown and I would love him to complete the season 1 foes. I also would want George's Mr. Freeze because that helmet is freaking cool and looks more like the silver age comic version. From season 2 I pretty much dislike most the new villains, except Egghead and Shame, but I would buy Clock King for sure at least, and maybe Sandman. Season 3 has only 3 villains I ever loved. Olga, Louie The Lilac and Siren. They may have the rights to Olga if you look at the comic and see the character looks like the actress, but I don't think the rights are there for colorful Louie and beautiful Siren.

DC's been using only Preminger's likeness so I bet he's the only one that's got clearance, same might go for Berle and the others. There were a few of them that DC couldn't get the rights to. Liberace for sure, too, he's blonde in the comic.

They cannot do enough foes or henchmen as far as I'm concerned--the only ones I didn't care for were Archer & Minerva. I like the Minstrel--I can easily see him in a '60s comic and I liked that he was in the coloring book as well.
