But Superior POSEABILITY matters! Quality plastic Matters! No tight rubber bands yanking on the inside hook matters! which the Type S body provides.....the FTC body is Dollar store cheap plastic Garbage and it's worth it to me to replace these '66 figures on superior bodies. The Biggest example was when I posted pics of the conversion for Batman/Robin...the poses I got/the figures are heavier and sturdier/And NO RUBBER BANDS Yanking away on the arms.....ALL my EMCE Marvel figures are going on type S bodies too. I paid $7 each by the way and worth every penny!!

Sorry, but plastic quality still sucks, they still use Rubber bands that gives awkward poses....there is no comparison to the Type S body that is being offered to upgrade the figures.Comment

Yeah Type S is the best right now, then an original Mego body maybe, then Doc Megos and castaways and FTCs body comes out on the bottom. Its not as terrible as it used to be, but it's still cheaper made plastic than everyone elses. My posts were needlessly deleted ...Comment

They look fantastic but I wasn't expecting anything else, especially after getting the first line-up of the Batman 66. This is a great line.Comment

yep, the only problem I can find is Egghead's shirt. Its sleeveless and its too tight where the Velcro doesn't stay Velcro-ed. After all the detail that the Joker got I was expecting Eggy to be the same design quality. You must try to generate happiness within yourself. Thanks for posting pics, I hope mine arrive today.
I have absolutely no problem with buying Villain accessories, I've bought the majority of the Batman gadgets.
However, there are some figures that should automatically come with props and the Penguin's Umbrella is a perfect example of this.
I did purchase an umbrella from the DM website, the handle busted off immediately.
I super-glued it back on and painted the umbrella.
Now, it sits awaiting the Penguin.Comment

Awesome! Thanks for sharing T !!! Question... How is Pengwy holding the cigar pipe? Is there a small hole in there? Does it look bad without the cigar? Can it even be removed? Thanks!Comment

As for the figures themselves, Eggsky does loo a little large int he head, but nowhere near Alfred huge. I think the odd shape helps mitigate that a bit. Hard to tell from just a couple of pics, but the face sculpt looks even more like Price here than in any of the official pics. Costumes look great!Last edited by scott metzger; Sep 24, '14, 9:51 AM.Comment

I've never tried the type S bodies, so I can't comment on those, but, for me, anyway, the FTC bodies are about the best Mego wannabe bodies out there. I've tried things like Dr. Megos bodies, but the females are oddly short in the torso and the males always seem to have a jutting left hip joint. The FTC female hips don't fit into the crotch piece quite as well as the original Megos, but they are the closest and best thing I've found thus far. The bands are not as overly tight as they were on the wave 1 figures now, and I can basically pose them the same as my real Megos. And that's a big thing for me; I don't want something in a radically different style here, as I never had an major problems with the Mego bodies (save the lack of a way to get the head to look up for flying folks). For what I want and need, these work quite well.

So far the only thing FTC has been able to make correctly is the costumes and the heads, although the head scale is at times off and there have been some issues with the costumes... example: Superman's cape, you don't mess with Superman's cape. Oh and the Super-gal's short boots, I don't think anyone prefers them.My posts were needlessly deleted ...Comment

If you never tried them, then you don't know what your missing and you can't really say anything about the comparison....Type S Zica bodies ARE THE BEST MEGO WANNA-BE BODIES OUT THERE!!... I recall someone pointing out once how silly that song line is. If you pull on Superman's cape, he'll simply turn a round and say, "Excuse me, please don't do that. And shouldn't you be in school, son?" Now, pull on Batman's cape, he turns around, doesn't say a word, and gives you a look that makes you wet your pants. THAT makes a lot more sense.Last edited by scott metzger; Sep 24, '14, 2:51 PM.Comment
