The bodies seem pretty good. The heads are very loose and it's hard to get them to look straight. The outfits are very good. One of the problems seem to be the figures don't quite fit into the backing tray very well. I only played with it for a minute but they just don't sit right in it. And somehow I lost my Shazam lightning bolt. Found it, it slid to the picture side of the clamshell.
Well the costumes look GREAT! The loose heads can be addressed w/ little clear rubber bands I'm sure (I use those little clear rubber bands for almost every toy line I collect & for various reasons). But I have an important question for you: When you say you lost your SHAZAM LIGHTNING BOLT, do you mean there is an extra one included (If YES way to go FTC!)....or Do you mean it wasn't silkscreened onto his costume & fell off SHAZAM's chest after your pictures were taken? Thanks for any info! & let me know about the FTC twist ties if you want them!

Thanks for the offer but I have some twist ties from the first Batman wave I opened. There is an extra lightning bolt and Superman shield in the package. One of the many things FTC gets right.

^^^LOL! I stayed at a RADISSON hotel here in Utica for 4-5 Days around Christmas so my Daughter, Grandson, x2 Nephews & Niece could all sleep over & swim in the indoor pool & use the hot tub. So It was there were my Nephews & Neice gave me my Christmas present (that I bought lol) of my mego FTC Batman Wave 1. I wanted to play w/ them w/ my nephews & nobody had reported any way of opening these w/out cutting the zip tie, so I went to the front desk to use their scissors to cut them. & yes, I SAVED the Cut ties from Wave 1 & some from wave 2 before I started using the tip of a razor cutter from the dollar store that works every time.

Aquaman and Green Arrow arrived today. 8 of 100. Ollie's quiver and hat were behind him and I believe the reason is he doesn't quite fit wearing them with the backing tray. Looks good with them on and they send an extra zip tie. It's not necessary as the right side of the clam shell can be opened and the figures removed quite easily. Outfits are great. Oillies hat is a little soft. Bodies are what's expected. They don't seem to have the loose heads that Supes and Capt. Marvel do.

So are NONE of the 2-pack figures tied down? That really looks bad. The good news is it seems like the fit of the costumes is getting better, although GA's sleeves seem a bit baggy. Aquaman's suit looks pretty good. These should look pretty good by themselves MOC once they come out.

My two weren't and I had to put the quiver on Ollie. The outfits are very nice and i'll try to take some pics next to Mattel GA.

Yeah none of them I have seen so far have the twist ties. They are just in the packaging loose laying on the tray. It allows them to get knocked around a lot in the mail, which is how I bet the heads get turned around. They probably hurried and threw them together to get them out as fast as possible since they put themselves on the hook with charging people too early.

They obviously are not shipping first in first out either since I got the 2nd two pack I ordered first, and am still waiting for the one I ordered a couple weeks before that.
My posts were needlessly deleted ...

I didn't notice that; it feels about like the original to me.

I got my 2 pack of Supergirl/Batgirl yesterday. They honestly looked like they had been fighting in the package. No twist ties. Supergirl had throw a shoe. Hair was a mess.

I was able to open the FTC zip tie, replaced Supergirl's shoes and Batgirl's boots with Dr Mego footware. I tightened up Supergirl's belt. Straightened out both of their hair. Then added a twist tie on one foot each to hold them in without messing up their hair.

They look great now. But it took a lot more work than I'd expect for the price.

^^^ I think the costumes look FANTASTIC, the only exception is Green Arrow's sleeves. Otherwise I think GA looks GREAT! Aquaman looks good as well! I just wish these were $50 or the regular releases were In Stock/shipping, because obviously FTC has the costumes, accessories & Heads available right NOW! But FTC knows it's smarter to put these out as 2-pack exclusives or Fist Fighters first, as they would get $30.00 per figure, instead of $25.00. That extra $5 per figure really adds up for FTC. My opinion on the costumes for: SUPERMAN, SHAZAM, BIZARRO, Mr. MXY, BATMAN, ROBIN, BATGIRL, JOKER, RIDDLER, BRUCE WAYE, DICK GRAYSON, ALFRED, PENGUIN, AQUAMAN, WONDER GIRL, & ALL THE 1966 BATMAN figures in Wave 1, & 3/4 of Wave 2.....Look FAN-FREAK'n-TASTIC! (66 Grayson's shirt is the only thing I'd change on him). I didn't include Removable Cowl BM & RM Robin since I LOVE the costumes, but my only gripes is Robin's Mask is just ok & 1 of 2 of my Cowls on BM doesn't fit over his eyes at all!)

*So I LOVE FTC's costumes on 22 of FTC's re-megos! They look really good to GREAT!

*I LIKE 6 of FTC's costumes in general w/ some small gripes. But overall they look pretty good! (Catwoman, Green Arrow, 66 Dick G., Aqualad, Speedy, Kid Flash )

*I only DISLIKE 2 of FTC's costumes for the reasons stated below! But they BOTH have good-to-great things about them! (Wonder Woman & Supergirl)

I LIKE FTC's CATWOMAN & GREEN ARROW costumes. Overall they look Good! I just wished 4 tighter sleeves on them & no bulging seams on Catwoman's upper legs, both costumes are nowhere near a deal breaker for me at all!

I somewhat have Dislike for 2 of FTC's Super Gals costumes. But I still really like parts of both of these costumes & still LVE WW & bet I will LOVE Supergirl when she arrives from EE eventually. So my only nitpicks for WW & Supergirl are:

WONDER WOMAN's costume has BEAUTIFUL Screen Printing! But after a google search on Mego 8" Wonder Woman, I realize the stretchy material Mego used had a tighter formfitting look that FTC's doesn't. It's a little too baggy, but I have a bigger proble with the sleeves being too short on one side & the other side being stitched together too low making WW's arm attached at her mid torso. That lower stitching on one arm, & shorter sleeve on the other, makes it impossible to pose her arms much at all sadly. Still a great looking doll.

SUPERGIRL's costume looks ok overall. Some parts look really good, but the sleeves are an unfortunate departure from her charming Mego counterpart! Supergirl was the ONLY Super Gal I did NOT have as a little boy. To the best of my toddler memories (much stronger early childhood memories than everyone I know), I never even saw Mego Supergirl. I did get ISIS after my 1st or 2nd 8" Mego WW broke, but I only remember SUPERGIRL from the packages headshot bubbles. So when Mego was operating I had 1 or 2 8" WW & ISIS. Years later I lucked out & got my only Batgirl (along w/ Batman, Robin & Batmobile) far after all my mego has broken (except Kirk & a naked Cheron lol) when I was playing w/ them at my cousins (who like their parents were anal so the 3 Megos+Batmobile were MINT)) & they were getting older so my Aunt gave them to me! *But I never had a Supergirl mego, so I was really hoping for the pirate sleeves & the side-parted hair w/ some bangs on the FTC Supergirl. But overall I can definitely still be exicited to get a Mego-ish interpretation of SUPERGIRL from FTC! Besides the bad body on her, I can get over the hair & tight sleeves!

Someone had asked how Supergirl looked with boots. After cracking the case open, switching out the shoes and boots, and staging them a bit better, here is what I came up with.

Wait, what boots did you use for Supergirl? That looks AWESOME, man.

Those look way better than any of the 2-packs as sent by FTC. Those would look PERFECT if they had necks! I actually LOVE batgirls costume & all of Supergirl's except the sleeves. But Batgirl especially look bad w/ no neck. I tried pulling up Batgirls & Wonder Woman's necks to absolutely NO Avail! ZERO luck using the needle nose pliers, it didn't even come close to popping out for some reason....& believe me I tried HARD!

I'm gonna try FTC Wonder Woman's too short red boots on FTC Supergirl
when she comes, IF I get some repro RED Dr. Mego boots. ThePLAYER says to just take off WW's boots & she'll look like Mego's WW w/out boots. Unfortunately My FTC WW has a lot of wear on the feet & have not only stretched causing the feet material to thin & start pulling apart, the red silkcreen is wearing away as well, so I need red boots. Tonight or tomorrow I'm going to try some of my generic 70's doll boots (look like Mego's boots A LOT) but the quality is very subpar & they are thin & fragile, some colors more than others. I will use them for customs I guess. Hopefully the 70's generic red & yellow boots will look superior to the FTC short boots until I upgrade to Dr.Mego proper mego female boots!

Still haven't received my AM/GA two pack...it's been over a month since I paid for it. Sigh. They've lost a customer. Bummer.
