Yeah none of them I have seen so far have the twist ties. They are just in the packaging loose laying on the tray. It allows them to get knocked around a lot in the mail, which is how I bet the heads get turned around. They probably hurried and threw them together to get them out as fast as possible since they put themselves on the hook with charging people too early.
They obviously are not shipping first in first out either since I got the 2nd two pack I ordered first, and am still waiting for the one I ordered a couple weeks before that.

My two weren't and I had to put the quiver on Ollie. The outfits are very nice and i'll try to take some pics next to Mattel GA.So are NONE of the 2-pack figures tied down? That really looks bad. The good news is it seems like the fit of the costumes is getting better, although GA's sleeves seem a bit baggy. Aquaman's suit looks pretty good. These should look pretty good by themselves MOC once they come out.Leave a comment:

Aquaman and Green Arrow arrived today. 8 of 100. Ollie's quiver and hat were behind him and I believe the reason is he doesn't quite fit wearing them with the backing tray. Looks good with them on and they send an extra zip tie. It's not necessary as the right side of the clam shell can be opened and the figures removed quite easily. Outfits are great. Oillies hat is a little soft. Bodies are what's expected. They don't seem to have the loose heads that Supes and Capt. Marvel do.Leave a comment:

^^^LOL! I stayed at a RADISSON hotel here in Utica for 4-5 Days around Christmas so my Daughter, Grandson, x2 Nephews & Niece could all sleep over & swim in the indoor pool & use the hot tub. So It was there were my Nephews & Neice gave me my Christmas present (that I bought lol) of my mego FTC Batman Wave 1. I wanted to play w/ them w/ my nephews & nobody had reported any way of opening these w/out cutting the zip tie, so I went to the front desk to use their scissors to cut them. & yes, I SAVED the Cut ties from Wave 1 & some from wave 2 before I started using the tip of a razor cutter from the dollar store that works every time.Last edited by invisiblelad; Sep 29, '14, 4:06 PM.Leave a comment:

Thanks for the offer but I have some twist ties from the first Batman wave I opened. There is an extra lightning bolt and Superman shield in the package. One of the many things FTC gets right.Well the costumes look GREAT! The loose heads can be addressed w/ little clear rubber bands I'm sure (I use those little clear rubber bands for almost every toy line I collect & for various reasons). But I have an important question for you: When you say you lost your SHAZAM LIGHTNING BOLT, do you mean there is an extra one included (If YES way to go FTC!)....or Do you mean it wasn't silkscreened onto his costume & fell off SHAZAM's chest after your pictures were taken? Thanks for any info! & let me know about the FTC twist ties if you want them!Leave a comment:

The bodies seem pretty good. The heads are very loose and it's hard to get them to look straight. The outfits are very good. One of the problems seem to be the figures don't quite fit into the backing tray very well. I only played with it for a minute but they just don't sit right in it. And somehow I lost my Shazam lightning bolt. Found it, it slid to the picture side of the clamshell.Leave a comment:

Wasimhosen, I'm pretty weird & save A LOT more things than I need to. I've bought 2-4 of everything DC & Batman 66 so far, because I open 1 of everything, I have A LOT of actual FTC twist ties I can throw in an envelope for you. I would just need to know how many 2-packs you are getting; so I would know how many wrist, leg, neck, & waist ties to send you. FREE of course lol! Let me know if you want those exact ties (thick clear coated wires). It would be my pleasure to send them to you if you want them!Leave a comment:

The clam shell does open enough to get the figures and the back out without cutting the zip tie. I'm going to find a couple ties from something around here and they should look better.Leave a comment:

I really can see the problem MOC folks would have with that, especially with the premium price tag. I got them to open as I couldn't wait for the singles likely not coming until next year (no willpower whatsoever here), but for those who got them to keep in the original packaging, this could really be a deal breaker. Given that I think all the figures up until now have been twisty tied down, most folks were rightly expecting that would be the case with these, as well.Leave a comment:

Yep, those will take some "staging" before they can be displayed prominently.
The good news is that the figures themselves look great! The costumes seem to fit well and the heads look pretty much as in proportion as the original Mego figures. NO BIG HEADS! YAY!
I'm waiting for my Supergirl/Batgirl 2 pack. We will see how those turn out.
I've pretty much decided to just restage my Wonder Woman figure and not alter her. She looks a LOT like the original Mego. Poor thang. Best to start over and make my own version I think.

I just received pink cowel Bats and his hand was flopping around. I asked FTC for a new zip tie and they sent one pretty quick. One of the problems with customer service is the email form on their site. You can only fit about 20 words. My daughter just saw this with the packing slip and said "You paid $73.00 (with shipping) for that? Are you going to send it back?". I don't know what i'm going to do. I ordered GA/AM as well and should see them this week.Leave a comment:

Doesn't quite look like advertised. I usually leave my figures in the package but may not be able to with this one.Leave a comment:
