Thanks drogge! Believe it or not, I have more & better detailed memories from my early childhood then anybody I know. My older brother (born in 1970) had many megos before I came along in late 74. I remember a fair bit of Mego-Memories lol! I also know we played HARD w/ our Megos & had 2nds & 3rds of some of them! I remembered every Mego we had w/ only questioning if we had the Lizard and/or Green Goblin. I remember having a 8" mego WW in my hands at about 3 years old tops & thinking these stars are different then I remember on my old WW. I can't remember if this 2nd WW had Bigger or the Smaller white stars on her blue bottoms, but I remember exactly where & in what I was sitting & I definitely know it was a 2nd WW. I also remember at 3-4 getting the 12" WW w/ Diana Prince's Navy Uniform. My Mom called us & said her & my father were going out dancing (this was very rare) & a babysitter was coming. She said she was at the mall & we could each pick a toy she'd come home w/. My brother picked Monopoly & I picked 12" WW (much to my brother's dismay I presume!) LOL. WW was so important to me that her Mego Memories are the ones most burned into my mind! LOL!

Thanks! I like the boots! I think I will order a pair along with an umbrella for 1966 Penguin.

Curious (and OT)... anyone have a pic of Supergirl with the red boots?

Someone asked for a photo of Diana in Doc Mego boots:

Sorryfor the link, but for some bizarre reason the forum is telling me it's too big, even though I just loaded up pics 4 times as large.

I have to, or have had to, replace A LOT of bodies on FTC DC re-Megos so far.....but I'm so HAPPY to be getting these! IF FTC can get the bodies, costume fit, QC, & HEAD scales fixed, I'll be content to not gripe....or at least not repeatedly. I'm going to hold out hope that FTC is going to send me all the female replacement bodies I need for my x3 Batgirls & x4 Wonder Womans! I'll call tomorrow as today is my Birthday so I got myself x4 FTC Wonder Woman when EE had their BOGO 40% OFF w/ FREE S/H. These figures came to exactly $20.02 each w/ FREE Shipping! I LOVE the screen printing & the heads on the FTC Wonder Woman! My x3 MIB WW's do have messy hair that could have easily been remedied, but I make clear headbands that look good enough (except in the back where you see the tape!) The sleeves being too short isn't that bad, but unfortunately despite the beautiful screenprinting, the sleeves needed to continu up another 1/2 - 3/4 inch before attaching to the bodice of the bodysuit.

*So today is my 40th Birthday! WONDER WOMAN (& the SUPER GALS) & I both debuted in 1974! I was in LOVE w/ Lynda Carter's WONDER WOMAN, like little boy OBSESSED! I had 1 or 2 8" Wonder Woman Megos, both 12" WW, & CAH WW w/ Invisible Plane & Exploding Tower playset, & I think Pocket Super Heroes WW. So for my Birthday I took pics of me & my new girlfriend on the side.......FTC Wonder Woman. She will look GREAT once she's on a NEW (& hopefully FREE) FTC female replacement body! Here we are celebrating our 40th Birthday together!

THANK YOU FTC, my little boy self is reunited w/ a Mego-like WONDER WOMAN for the first time in 36+ years! Thanks 4 the memories!

Mine had a frozen knee and I forced it to bend, it made a snap noise, but seems to be fine. Its another issue that makes me think these things were assembled while the plastic was still soft. For them to sort of fuse together like that.

It really is cool how these things take you back. I, too, loved the WW TV show, as well as the Super Friends, so finally getting WW back then was, well, wonderful! I remember putting a yellow rubber band around her waist to pull in the bagginess (so, yes, the FTC suit is really faithful to the old one on all counts ), but I was just happy to have her joining my Justice League for their weekly adventure every Saturday afternoon...

The only thing that bothers me MORE than obvious Trolling.......Is when a Troll really thinks they can explain that they are NOT REALLY Trolling. LOL! It's as transparent as the Mego female clear headbands that FTC really needs to start including on their NO-Necked DEFECTIVE females of late!

I put quotes around the "problem" because to me, it's not a problem. It doesn't bother me at all. I totally get why you are upset about it, and as I said it's your right to be upset if you want to be. And it doesn't bother me that it bothers you. Really. Life goes on.

It may not bother you, and that's fine. Why it bothers you so much that it bothers many others, I don't know, but others do see the mistake, it bothers them to have a defective figure they paid good money for, and they have every right and reason to feel that way.

There are some consistent problems with the line; if everyone simply shuts their mouths and says, "that's okay, be glad you have anything at all," nothing will be fixed. I think neither the fans nor the company wants that, as it will adversely affect sales, and I think we all want the lines here to continue for a long time to come.

That's my piece, I've said it, I stand by it. Stick a fork in me, I'm done.

Seriously, I can't understand anyone not seeing something wrong with a neckless figure. You don't have a problem with it, that's fine, but don't minimize the concerns of folks who have a VERY legitimate gripe with a defective figure. It isn't a "problem," it is a PROBLEM that deserves commentary and action. The bodies are assembled wrong; that is an incontrovertible fact. And people have a perfect right as paying customers to expect that what they pay for is assembled correctly.

And, for the record, there are TWO mistakes in assembling the recent female figures: the obvious neck, and the ab ball. The latter is upside down; you can't tell from the outside, but it is the reason the figures tend to resist being put in an upright position at the waist. The big hole should be on the bottom, not the top; flip it over and the difference in the ease of posing is noticeable. It's a minor point, but it shows FTC really needs to communicate with the folks overseas putting these things together.
Where did I minimize your concerns? I said I can totally understand why you would be upset, but I also said that it doesn't bother me at all. If that means I am minimizing your concerns by not agreeing with them, then I can't help that. Also note that we didn't start hearing about the neck issue till people got their figures. That's because that's when people started closely examining the female figures, which is what you have to do to see that the neck 'issue' is there.

Again for me, it's no big deal. If there was a simple way to 'fix' the problem I probably would on one figure just to see if I could notice the difference. Again just so we are clear, if you are upset about it, that's your right and I can understand why you would be.

If they were doing a good job, they could at least say to everyone, we know some of the bodies were assembled incorrectly at the factory... so until we receive correctly assembled bodies, any figures on these bodeis will be discounted at such and such. That way people could at least know before hand that they are buying a wave that still has the issue. That's what I would do. That might cost them money in the short term, but knowingly selling defective product will cost them money in the long term.
